Review The Goats Head - Abbots Bromley

Sharon Holford
Wow what a refurb! Popped in on Horn Dance day (11th September) and was super impressed. Now back for lunch and to have a proper look around. The Goat has the professional look and feel of an upmarket City-centre pub/bar, but with the warmth and friendliness of a great local pub. The new owners are dog lovers, and there's even a doggie refreshment bar! The outside entertainment on Monday (Horn Dance day) was outstanding, so I'm looking forward to the next event. Today I had a quick pub lunch - their cob meal deal . Delicious. The Goats Head is open 11-11, so Ill definitely be back to try the evening menu. Love it!

Just stopped off for a drink. Pleasant landlady. Pity it doesn't do food

Since may 2017 it's been re opened with new management. It's a great atmosphere which is suitable for a quick drink with children too. The food is fantastic with a variety of choice and when ordering for kids drink and pudding is included in the price.

Lovely outside area, with a massive stretch tent and quick service

Beautifully intimate, great atmosphere and very nice staff, probably the best burger I've had. I can't rate this place enough. Having booked an airbnb just a stone's throw away for a relaxing weekend with my girlfriend, we grabbed food at the goats head and were very pleasantly surprised. Definitely worth a visit.

Called in on way home from Shugborough Estate for dinner. With a choice of 3 or 4 pubs in the village so pleased we decided on the Goats Head. Lovely friendly atmosphere, great choice of meals available. We didn't have to wait long before we had delicious plates full in front of us. Perfect chips too....... how many places get them wrong!Steak cooked to perfection, chicken moist and very tasty. Highly recommend this little jewel in Abbots Bromley.

Nice old pub in the centre of Abbott's Bromley village. Didn't get to try the food but it looked good, so will be back to try it. Ask about the Dick Turpin story.
