We went to the Shanty Jam at the Henderson Hub on Friday evening. It was a wonderful evening - very welcoming. The staff who organised it and the staff in the cafe were very friendly and cheerful. The entertainment was superb and most people joined in with the singing - some performing and some just
Friendly volunteers good selection of snacks.
Great meeting place.
Absolutely loved it.
Keep it up .
What a fabulous venue all looked after by volunt. A windedt local resource.
Went for live music but it has other things .
Worth a visit
Very nice, offers a nice cafe during the day serving freshly made toasted sandwiches and cakes plus other tasty treats, I was actually there for an evening show, cafe turns into a bar during the evening, well run, great local community asset, support deserved
Nice small hall that can be used for various purposes ( art show there when we visited). There is a volunteer based cafe on the site also. There is no parking as this is on the main road but it is a very short distance from the local free carpark.
Great multi use centre in the middle of Abbots. Cafe did great coffee, interesting exhibits going on often plus a good size stage, with raked seating for performances for most tastes.
Excellent little venue for all sorts of things, local theatre, cinema, art centre coffee shop, something for everyone and supporting the local communities
Our camera club held our annual photographic exhibition here thus year and we're extremely pleased with the beer and quality of the visitors. The adjacent cafe is also excellent, providing our stewards with free coffee! Very nice Coffee it was too. Highly recommend.
Always a nice place to have a little refreshment break. A good range of drinks there and very nice cakes including a range of gluten free options. The little touches such as childrens chairs and an area for them to draw and read is also appreciated.
Great place to have coffee and cake and they are gradually including a diverse arts centre with films, plays and art expos. In the New Year 2023, it is hoped to add more activities when possible. There's been a few hiccups but they're getting back on track now.
Watched a performance of 'Quartet' here. So pleased amatuer dramatics thrives in rural villages like Abbots Langley still.
Nice gallery and amateur dramatics and a good cafe
Great place to visit and meet local artists and enjoy looking at their artwork, and if you fancy a coffee they have a great café which is popular with the locals and supports the local area 🎨☕🍰
Cut above the average coffee shop. Friendly staff reasonable prices and some comfortable chairs. Can get a bit crowded and then noisy, needs some soft furnishings or carpets to act as baffles.
It's all about. It's nice to be nice. That's why I volunteer. Everyone needs a bit of a hug sorry I meant hub let's try to keep it going but I don't know how
Great venue for watching films, a very low price cinema, only a fiver. Raised seating. A fantastic art gallery. A great place to have a cuppa and a chat. A great venue for plays and concerts. Very friendly staff
Excellent community facility hosting music and films. Check the website for info on schedule
Brilliant place to have coffee. The cakes are amazing!! They have a little area for children to colour and pin their pictures to the board!!
