Me and my family visited today and absolutely loved it. We had a lovely warm welcome and absolutely loved the cakes and scones we had. My son loved his toastie and they were so accommodating for his needs. The food is absolutely delicious and we can’t wait to visit again soon. We highly recommend anyone to visit here as you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for a lovely visit. 😊😊

Very attractive garden for cream tea and food .Lovely staff good scones.
A wonderful tea room, very clean and pleasant with a nice garden area for the good weather. The staff are friendly and helpful, the options on food and teas/coffees are great. I had a mug of coffee, with option of hot or cold milk. I had soup of the day which was wonderful, sandwiches with Granary bread, but could have had wholemeal or white. Later I went back for tea and homemade scones, the best I have had for a long time. Very highly recommend.

Consistant quality, good service & throughly enjoyable, if I lived local I would be a regular.
I bought their own little receipe book last visit & today made the little shortbread biscuits they give complentatory with hot drinks - they turned out lovely - thanks for exceeding our expectations, can't wait till our next visit.

It has been many years since visiting The Old School House. The village and its buildings didn't disappoint - the school house still has the quaint charm we remember.
Service was a little slow, despite not appearing to be too busy and the waiter seemed overwhelmed. We felt the tea room lacked atmosphere, maybe some gentle background music would help.
Unfortunately if you're vegetarian you can only choose one filling for sandwiches, which was hard to understand.
However afternoon tea was amazing - fresh sandwiches and cakes were delicious & well presented.
Stopped off for some tea and decided to try the Tradional Cream Tea and WOW!! we were stunned at what arrived. Firstly a tea set of Royal Albert and a giant teapot ( no piddly little pot here) and then this feast arrived!!
Four different types of sandwich, TWO cream scones each, lemon drizzle cake and two Tiffins, everything home baked as well, it was delicious, there was so much we got a doggy bag and took what we could fininh home with us.
I couldn't recommend the Old School House highly enough, do not miss this gem tucked away in this little village.
Very tasty, quality food and all made in house. The owners were very attentive and good natured chatting with customers. They have a passion for what they do and it shows. Wish I had discovered this place earlier. Brilliant. Just brilliant.
