It was absolutely fabulous visiting this pub.. Lovely place, delicious meals, very big portions, nice service, good beer. Everything was so fantastic. Highly Recommended!
Lovely spot for an ice cold cider in the sunny beer garden after a long walk.
We visit the Swan Inn most of the time we’re in Abbotsbury.
The food is great too. Good honest pub food that can’t be faulted. Great portions too!
They also serve food all day, which is a bonus as most pubs close their
Lovely beer garden offering a mix of sunshine and shade. Extra parking over the foad and lovely view if the fields from the garden.

This pub has stood the test of time, current landlord of 55 years behind the bar, family run.

Lovely place to visit for some drinks and food. Nice little outside garden and some seating out front by the road. Dog friendly inside and out and lovely staff. Food came out in good time. I had the BBQ ribs with chips and salad. The ribs was delicious but the chips were average not the best chips I
Excellent proper pub serving proper pub food. Great steak and kidney pie with proper shortcrust pastry . Wife had Local portland crab. Some of the best i have seen in a few years. Washed down with a couple of pints of tasty butcome bitter . Perfect pub lunch.
Lovely meal at the Swan Inn, stayed in the area for a long weekend so we checked it out on the Friday evening & the place was pretty full with a nice ‘local pub’ buzz.

Friendly local pub. I've been here on several occasions for various events and each time the food was been really lovely.
Beer garden is really nice in summer when the flowers are out. A very well kept pub, makes a good pit stop!
Popped in here a few times now when I've been visiting the area and always happy with the service and can't fault the food at all. I had the pie and vegetables on my last visit and most recently crab ploughman's, which was superb.
I recommend going here, with polite and helpful staff. We didn't have to wait long for food and the portion size was good. The food was tasty, but the only reason for the 4 stars is that we thought it was a bit expensive for what we got. There was a good selection of different foods to choose from t

Lamb dinner and ice cream sundae both good. Dated interior but gave proper pub atmosphere. Juke box on wall good selection of music. Good selection of drinks.
Nice food and a good pub to go for a meal. The staff were very friendly and polite. Can't wait to go back
An impulse stop for a bite to eat on the way back to the campsite and I'm so glad we did (not like me to make a good decision!). Friendly welcoming staff, crackin' cop o' tea (all important to me) and the food is to die for. Served piping hot with fresh veg and not frozen (yes. You CAN tell).

Brilliant evening with great food, staff were friendly and helpful and the inn itself is lovely! This was a return visit after a previous first class crab salad for lunch and I absolutely recommend a visit! 😁😁😁
Lovely garden for a great pub meal. One of the best menus I've seen - really wide variety of options at really good prices and lovely specials too. Would definitely return.
