It was a nice experience to visit this museum. Art Gallery was an added attraction. Staff members were welcoming and friendly. It's not a large scale museum but despite the size of the museum it's worth visiting and experiencing and witnessing the unique collection.
If amazing staff members will be around: Kids may also have the opportunity to find the hidden dragon and may earn great surprise gifts.

Great place lots of art plus local history. Friendly staff and a lovely restaurant.
Very accessible with friendly and helpful staff.
Used as myeeting point by some local groups and puts on community events
Very supportive of the LGBTQIA community and very good on Bi stuff which can often be lacking. They did stuff for Bi+ week this year and were the host for stuff in the past that was about Bi+ issues.
Very much feels a safe place to be yourself
Champions local arts and always interesting exhibitions. Nice art shop too with a variety of different styles on display and for sale.

Works thing - rented a room for the day to hold a course. Staff went over and above with how helpful they were, opening early, staying late, running out for milk, moving rooms, etc when we didn't all fit. Building is lovely and clean, all facilities as they should be. Decent tea and coffee selection, great biscuits.

Thanks to the friendly volunteers which gave us a friendly welcome. The exhibits are beautifully displayed. Also thanks to exhibition designer Walter for giving us more background on the photos of the coal miners and the story of the coal strike, it's well worth the visit.

I love taking my nephew to the First Steps playgroup every Wednesday, except for school holidays. We had a lovely halloween party today.
