Good was great and service was very quick, only had to wait 10mins for each course to come out. Big portions too which is great. They offer a deal for 2 course meals before 6:30pm for £14.95 which is great value for money. Also their menu shows the allergies for each dish which is clear and helpful
Went there for the last evening of my Scotland trip and had an amazing meal. The lamb was one of the best I ever had. Everything else was great too. Staff superfriendly and nice. Early evening dinner got us a really good price. Good selection of whiskey and craft beer.
Howies is a great resturant with a relaxed approach to your meal. The staff are great at what they do and able to chat pleasantly when taking the tables order, checking everything is okay during the meal and when checking for drinks. A really good experience, wonderful food and large eating area wh

Amazing food and affordable. We had the veggie haggis, stabbed mussels, battered haddock and squash risotto. Service was friendly and quick. And the food was worth every penny. If we ever make it back, we'll definitely visit Howies restaurant again 😊 (Edit: steamed mussels, of course. Though who am
