I dined at Aperitivo on a whim on Saturday night as part of a large group. My first impression was that it’s a great looking restaurant, with an inviting bar area and a warm, social atmosphere. It was however, very busy. And very noisy. It was fine for us as a group, but I’d likely be a bit put off if I was hoping for a romantic or intimate meal. Regardless, having endured a decidedly average Italian meal out last weekend , I was pretty excited to give Aperitivo a go. The menu is diverse and interesting, though surprisingly void of pizza. I loved the huge range of hot and cold small plates (I assume one could share them like tapas), but as my group were all going for single mains, I wasn’t able to try those options this time. I instead went with the Arancinette Con Formaggio to start, and Linguine Al Pesce as my main. Can't say enough about the Food or the Service we got. It made our evening even more magical. Six Cousins getting together, Marvellous. This Will happen again and personally why go anywhere else for Italian Cuisine.

Went there for some proper italian cuisine and that was spot on decision. Tasty food, friendly crew and nice atmosphere.
The food here is wonderful and there are a lot of different options depending on what you feel in the mood for. Our children loved it as well. Each of the servers were incredibly helpful and kind. Unfortunately, we chose a different Italian restaurant to eat at the second night in Aberdeen and Apertivo was far better in service, food quality and price. We all had different dishes and we loved them all. We would definitely eat here again!

Went to Aperitivo last night for a meal and it did not disappoint. The service from the staff was absolutely first class, They allowed to us to be moved later on as we were a little warm. The food itself was fantastic. Ordered a side of mushrooms which could have fed a table of 4. Portion sizes were really good as well.
Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Warm atmosphere, lovely attentive staff and great choice of lunch dishes. Excellent quality food and prices. Specials menu fish dish was delicious and flavoursome. Dessert and liqueur coffee went down a treat! Super Saturday afternoon and will return again.
I went there with my mum for a Friday lunch. My mum had special starter and fish special and I had Garlic bread with cheese and pesto pasta. It was super good. Both my mum and I very impressed how professional service was and how high the quality of the food was. The restaurant has a great vibe. Next time my mum will come to visit, we will definitely have our lunch there.
An amazing lunch at a stellar price
The lunch menu here is amazing. At two courses for £10 it's already an enticing offer before you even sit down. The food is simple Italian food cooked to perfection. The taste it's superb and they don't stint you on the portion sizes either. The staff are really friendly and attentive. A must visit for Italian food in Aberdeen.
Great food,great service and lively atmosphere all together with good value for money
We had our first meal here and honestly it was one of the friendliest environments! We felt incredibly welcome when we first came in our served was excellent very fast and the food! It was exceptional, the chicken was so tender it was absolutely delicious and the lasagna you could tell was homemade and made with passion. The brushetts starters were full of flavour! 14/10 would definitely recommend to anyone who loves homemade Italian food

Very nice and inexpensive Italian restaurant. Excellent portions, excellent prices, excellent taste and excellent service. It was a Friday night with a lot of Christmas nights out. It was very busy but the staff went above the normal to bring us our food on time . Well done one and all. Not usually in Aberdeen but would definitely come back the next time I'm up this way.
