Called in for lunch after a walk around old Aberdeen and Seaton park. The place was immaculate. There was a good selection of drinks and food. Our waitress Leah was great friendly and helpful. We had crispy cauliflower bites, the mini grill which wasn’t mini and onion rings. The food came out quickly and we’ll presented.
I am not exaggerating when I say I was disappointed after visiting 7 to 8 restaurants from Google search and local recommendations in the Highlands just in search of traditional haggis all the way to Aberdeen and finally my wish of eating traditional "haggis neeps and tatties" finally came true at Brig O'Don. This place is a hidden gem. The place is huge and spacious, quiet ambience, clean and the staff is very friendly and respectful.
Yayyy!!! Being a foodie, I love traditional cuisine, I can now say my trip to Scotland was complete. 😎😍

Very happy with our visit tonight. Our complements to the chef, the food was all amazing and our server Hamish was absolutely fantastic. Very professional, friendly, and great with our kids. Hamish went above and beyond to provide us top quality service from start to finish. Great selection on both the kids and adults menu and all reasonable priced. If your looking for somewhere to have great food, a lovely atmosphere, professional service and affordable prices then I highly recommend Brig O'Don.
My kids said they give it a 10 Out of 10 👍😊
We are looking forward to coming back for another family meal out.
Many thanks
Great menu, though service can be a bit confusing.
We loved the diversity of the menu and each loved what we chose to eat - and it was such a relaxed environment that we stayed for coffee and dessert!
The only slight confusion is between table service vs going up to the bar to order. The latter definitely worked, but they 'd have to update their attentiveness if taking table service seriously.
Really impressed with the service here. When we arrived we were shown to our table and asked what we would like to drink straight away. Drinks came quick then ordered our meal which was also out quick and delicious. Veronica was our waitress and she was excellent. Very attentive, lovely happy personality and made sure our drinks were topped up. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
Excellent food and great staff. Loved the burger and steak ciabatta.
Place looks better than you imagined from the outside.
Busy place as we had to book ahead.
Quite spacious, and very polite staffs.
Though starters took time to arrive, but the meal in general was amazing.
We enjoyed staying at Al and Carols hotel. They are new owners but were great hosts that were welcoming and wanting to please guests. We also ate there and the food was delicious. Would definitely stay there again when next in Aberdeen.
First time visiting Brig O’Don to try their Sunday roast! The waitress who served me (I’m sorry I forgot her name) was really nice, polite and attentive as she took some time and effort to give me some options for specific drinks and alternatives available. I tried the lamb shank part of the Sunday roast, it was really lovely! The lamb was really tender and the other parts of the dish was cooked really well and they were very generous with their gravy. The environment and deco in the pub was really nice and suits the Christmas vibe at the moment. My only feedback would be that the drinks menu was slightly dirty and it was not clean. Definitely worth visiting!!!
In many ways typical of it's genre - a family eatery. Good menu and tasty food at a reasonable price in pleasant surroundings.
Where it really proved itself on a positive basis was the staff. We had a disabled member of our group who is very conscious of their verbal communications problems. The staff had lots of time for them, the table waiter in particular could not have been more patient and empathic to their needs.
