Delicious and fresh food. Only one objection is that the bao buns are a bit small and can be part of a set, not a dish on its own. Apart that everything was good. The portion of fries was generous. Nice and attentive staff.
The food is absolutely amazing, can't fault it honestly and for a good price too. The cocktails are very good but a bit pricey in my opinion. However, if you ask, they can prepare a mocktail for you, which is what we did on our last visit. The place can be very loud, which can lower the experience f
Scottish Tapas served here. Great rustic interior. Friendly service. Most of the selection of the tapas was lovely especially the Nachos. The chickpea curry Dahl, the mushroom soup and the Kale & Ginger falafel however was disappointing. Would still recommend as overall experience was lovely.
Wonderful little cocktail bar. Beautiful ambiente with rustic interior and candlelight. Staff very nice and attentive, especially loved the complementary cold cucumber water that was brought to our table as soon as we sat down. Cocktails were beautiful and delicious.
Good bits - Service was good. Staff were friendly. Food was tasty. Not so good bits - Surfaces were slightly sticky and benches were manky and ripped to shreds in some areas of the bar.
They do a delicious amaretto sour. The cocktails in general are good, the vibe is very cool. Ideal for a date but still good fun with friends. Not a huge bar so if it's busy you may struggle for a seat, but if you like bars that are cooler than your average pub you will not regret it!
We had Bao Buns (Pork, Brisket), fried chickens (Korean, honey chilli), Sides - Gochujang Mayo, chips, 2 pints of Gamma Ray and few Renegade's Salvation! The service was good, ambiance was alright but food was delicious.
Held a private event here and couldn’t have had a better experience! The staff were so helpful prior to the event and responded quickly to any questions we had. Service was amazing on the night too and would highly recommend
AMAZING food!!! Fab cocktails, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Also good safeguarding against spread of covid. I will definitely be back!!
I already enjoyed the food and cocktails at 99, but since Roots took over the kitchen it's even better. We stopped in for dinner recently and LOVED the katsu burger, loaded fries and Eaton Mess for dessert. Some of the best vegan food I've ever eaten. Highly recommend.
Went to try the new menu by Roots Catering. Food didn't disappoint however I found the burger, fries and onion rings to be EXTREMELY greasy. Like actual dripping in grease. It didn't stop me from polishing off a good amount but I did end up leaving a few mouthfuls of each which having a huge appetit
I had a lovely cocktail recommended by one of the team, and the service was so friendly and generous. Nice vibe đź‘Ś
My friends and I dropped in for a drink this afternoon. Quaint, excellent cocktail menu, lovely staff and good vibes.
Met for some drinks. Glad I'd reserved a table for Saturday evening as very busy. Good selection of drinks, but quite expensive cocktails now
Nice cosy hub. Great cocktails and service.
We have had a couple of events here and couldn’t recommend them enough. Staff always so helpful and guaranteed good night!
This place is happening. They make a nasty Hurricane with Wray & Nephews that will take you into next week. Great staff
Nice place. Good Korean food. The dessert bao is worth coming back for.
Very friendly staff and a great pint, will be calling this my new local
