Blink and you will miss this gem of a restaurant. Very simple surroundings but its all about the food. Full of flavour and some of the best oriental I have eaten. Service is friendly and delivery of the food is very quick. Booking is advised as it is small and very busy.

Rare find! Best Chinese restaurant by far. Truly authentic Hong Kong food, very satisfied as it felt like home. Generous portions, lovely atmosphere, staff were friendly and welcoming. Could tell shop owners are really genuine and nice people. Ordered several dishes (mostly soup noodles) and quality and taste were impeccable. Definitely will be back whenever we visit Aberdeen again!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Hong Kong cuisine place that was hidden away in the midst of a busy city center. One of my favorite dishes at this restaurant is their noodle soup. It's incredibly flavorful and always hits the spot. The beef brisket is soft and tender, with a delicious taste that complements the soup perfectly. I usually choose dumplings or wantons to go with my soup, and they never fail to disappoint. They're generously filled and marinated really well, making them a perfect complement to the soup. Recently, I decided to try something new and ordered the king prawn belacan fried noodles. Belacan is a Malaysian-style shrimp paste that has a strong, pungent aroma and a savory, umami flavor. The noodles were perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of chewiness. The king prawns were large and succulent, and the belacan added a unique and delicious flavor that really elevated the dish. Overall, this Hong Kong cuisine place is a hidden gem that I highly recommend to anyone looking for some amazing Asian cuisine. The noodle soup and dumplings are a must-try, and the king prawn belacan fried noodles are a great option for those looking to try something new and exciting.

The best Chinese food in Aberdeen, hands down. The service and ambience is impeccable. A small place, tucked away from sight but once you're in, you'll keep coming back. My personal favourite is the salt and pepper chicken strips, chicken chow mein and curry sauce (with chilli oil of course!)

Absolutely love it here, the food is delicious and so fresh, and the staff are wonderful, you feel so taken care of. Truly one of the best places for food in Aberdeen! Pictured here is the BBQ pork and beef lo mein, house dumplings, salt and pepper chicken and house special fried rice in the back. So so good.

I have been frequenting Taste of Hong Kong ever since they opened in the old location at Aberdeen marketplace. Their food has always been good and quite authentic. Very similar to what you would have in a traditional Hong Kong cafe. The service has been great too, the boss is very friendly and always very happy to assist in any request. Highly recommend!

I've been there three times. It never disappoints me. As a HongKonger, definitely recommend the roasted duck and BBQ pork with rice and Hong Kong style milk tea. They taste like home. :)

Beautiful food, lovely service and surroundings, the staff are incredible and will go above and beyond to cater to needs and make you feel welcome, it’s become like a second home. Highly recommend the noodles in soup and homemade dumplings. We’ve never to this day had a bad meal (and we’ve been a lot!)

Brilliant! Great food, served with a friendly service, in a cute little setting just off union street. I go to taste of Hong Kong regularly but this time surpassed all others - I had the shredded duck and pickled cabbage noodles in soup. You will not regret a visit here!
