Great atmosphere and a fun quirky space. Staff were all really friendly and attentive. Spoke with Lisa during my visit who was really helpful, friendly, and a good laugh. She went above and beyond to make sure I was looked after. Regulars in the pub were very friendly and chatted away. A great place
Nice and roomy sports pub, with nice outdoor-area, as well. Crowded on football night! But nice to be there when Scotland beat Norway!
This is one of my favourite pubs in town. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, you really cannot fault them. The menu is good for pub grub, and service is always timely ππ» Itβs best to book for any big sports event as it has an amazing atmosphere.
Was only in for couple pints, large bar with loads of seats. Good choice of beers on tap. The old school stairs to toilets will bring back memories!
Always love it here! It's had a few changes in its time since I've been going, but always feels familiar. Staff are always good and there are enough different drinks to satisfy most taste pallets. 2 pool tables there now too if you want a game of pool and can pay cash or card for that!
Can book out
Quite a lively pub with a good atmosphere. Plenty of TVs inside around the bar and tables for viewing sports etc. when it's on. Food is quite good and does the job when needing a bite to eat, but nothing spectacular considering its pub food. Overall worth stopping in for a drink or two.
Large group of us in for drinks. All team lovely but 5 stars to Doug for dealing with our payment and the many many gift vouchers π
The old schoolhouse is an excellent pub. We really enjoyed the meals and the service. The lamb was tasty, and the service was fast. My guest from the United States was confused by the word "chips," not knowing it meant French fries. We had a good time. The ice on the cake, prices are reasonable.
I was here the other day for a breakfast and it was amazing I had the full Scottish breakfast it was massive and tasted fresh very good price for what you get and great service
Great pub! Loads of tables ( upsairs/ down stairs and outside), loads of tvs too. Super central, the foods ok but nothing special, just decent pub grub
Old schoolhouse were more than happy to see some men in shirts and ties. The staff were lovely to everyone and the food was exceptional
Great for a burger and a pint. Plenty of tables. Seating out front for the sunshine (when we get it in Aberdeen!) You can book a "VIP area" so it's potentially good for a birthday party or something like that.
The Old School house I guess by its name was a conversion from a schoolhouse in a sort of Weatherspoons style. Split over 2 levels with a large bar and loads of TVs it's excellent for watching sports. It has outdoor seating and of course sells the usual pub grub. A functional bar rather than spectac
Popped in for a quiet drink whilst waiting for a friend. Good service but very quiet but it was Wed pre lunch
