We stopped off for an early lunch between 2 appointments. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived but was filling up by the time we left at 1pm. The food was lovely and the portions generous. The staff were attentive and it was apparent that there's a good local following judging by the conversations between staff and customers. We will definitely go there again.

We had a great family meal at The Ploughman. We turned up without a reservation and the staff who were very friendly kindly managed to fit us in. The service was excellent. But the food was just outstanding! Highly recommend the steak pie and the lasagne. All our food was so fresh and delicious. Portions are very generous. Kid friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy. Can't wait to go back. ☺️

Haven’t been here since Simon had taken it over and I will definitely be back. Great menu choices, very friendly staff and lovely relaxed atmosphere. The food came and I was not disappointed, generous portion size and very tasty. The price is very reasonable. Thank You
