Fabulous! Excellent menu, massively varied. Brilliant service. Delicious food. Superb quality. Good value for money. Beautiful spacious cafe area with a lovely outside space too. Wonderful shop! Just wish I lived a wee bitcloser so I could come more often!
Don't miss it!
I had such a lovely visit today with my parents. The new tarmac has made a positive difference to the car park. The shop is amazing and come such a long way from quite humble beginnings. Nice to see a local business thrive. The produce is very fresh. We went to the restaurant and the lady on the till was so lovely and friendly, I could have spoken to her all day. The table staff were equally as nice. We got some complimentary shortbread too. Just a really nice touch. I think they are fairly priced given the freshness and quality of the produce. I have a friend who loves gin and it was the only photo that I took. Sorry I will take more next time. Thank you for a lovely visit.
Amazing place, great selection of food and gifts including a lot of baby gear. Well equipped kids play park and a good selection of indoor and outdoor eating with great food (+ a drive thru). Well worth a visit!
Had the steak pie, tatties, skirlie and veg. Scrumptuous and more than enough. My wife really enjoyed the rare roast beef on sourdough but not the soggy homemade chips that she left. If you are going to eat lunch here it is best if you turn up really hungry!!
Really busy at Sunday lunch, but didn't have to wait too long for a table. Food was tasty, and we didn't have to wait long for this to come out either. Cappuccino was good. Staff were great. Looking forward to going again already.
Just in for a quick visit after walking Kirkhill Forest. I had Mushroom soup (to die for), V had a strawberry tart, a lovely hot latte and we shared a bowl of chips. All for £17.60. Great friendly service, shop is superb, plenty of really good quality stuff to browse. I guess the fact that the place was busy on a rainy Monday afternoon tells its own story, but we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.
The cafe within the farm shop is brilliant for a nice lunch or just grabbing a coffee/cake.
Our initial thought was that it was slightly towards the expensive side (if you were just looking to grab a quick lunch), however, after experiencing the quality and taste of the food, I think it’s super reasonable and can’t recommend more. Everything is super fresh and everything we ordered was fantastic.
The staff at the till today were super friendly and really helpful.
Highly recommend.
All staff extremely helpful. We had stacked homemade 8oz Aberdeen Angus burgers with salad and chips... with extras...!!! for lunch and they were delicious. Huge portions 🍔 👌.
Didn't know where to start at the butchery and then the cooked (pies, pastys etc. 🥮) departments, fantastic selection, very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.
I drive past til his place daily to and from work, I have seen it grow form a small cafe to the size it is now. You see the carpark full slot of the time.
Thought I’d take the drive thru (will visit the store one day as looks good online)
Clear menu at the start of the drive thru. Press the buzzer and was greeted by a friendly chap.
Ordered in minutes and wait a few more minutes for delivery at the next window.
Given the usual condiments and product in a box.
£6 for burger and chips if you take the standard option (I didn’t) which beats a McDonald’s and also in quality!!
I added bacon, cheese and extra burger.
It was delicious and got rid of my hunger. The meat was tasty and the chips were good quality.
Hopefully it gets well used as it’s just great.
Will be back again.
Prices for quality is spot on.
Beautiful shop, prices adequate to quality. Coffee quite pricey and weak. I'd suggest using a darker roast and checking the grind setting. Possibly not enough pressure in the porta filter. Third coffee that tasted watery in Scotland in two days.
