Duffy's Restaurant

Wow. Perfect meal for me. I had the Swedish pancakes. The bacon was good, the egg perfectly cooked and tasty, and the pancakes were unbelievable. My husband had the corned beef, made in house. It was good, but my meal blew his out of the water. Fantastic. Ate the pancakes with raspberry jam instead of syrup. I could eat that every day.

One of our best places for Fish and Chips in western Washington; good sized pieces of fish, hand dipped in real batter, and real chips (not french fries). We took away some of our fish so we could save room for berry pie, and we were not disappointed. This was our first visit to Duffy's, we will be back.

Great restaurant with a lot of local history, from the late Kurt Cobain to the logging industry that built the area. The food is great, I go there for breakfast regularly, on top of standard pancakes and eggs they have seafood omelets and other items with local delights. This time I had the sweedish pancakes loaded with strawberries and whipped cream, very very good. Another items that is so difficult to walk by without having a slice is the selection of homemade pies.

My french dip sandwich wasn't very good. the beef was way too dry, even after dipping it in the sauce it was hard to get down. I didn't finish even half of it. The place is really outdated and was very dim. If the food was better I wouldn't mind paying their high prices, but my sandwich wasn't worth paying any price for. I was a bit sticker shocked when I saw the bill. I think this place is overpriced for the quality. I wasn't impressed with our service either, not sure if the server was trying to be funny or something, or just being rude. This is one of the few restaurants that I wont be returning to.
