What a lovely wee local cafe! Very friendly & in a nice spot. Glad I found this place when exploring Aberdeen - I'd be a regular if I was a local!
Great coffee & the scrambled egg roll (very generous helping of beautifully scrambled eggs with a toasted brioche bun) was superb đź‘Ś.
Really enjoyed my breakfast of spicy scrambled eggs and sourdough toast all washed down with a coffee. Great service and very enjoyable!

Had Sunday brunch in this gorgeous cafe today. Lovely menu choices and opted for Eggs Benedict which were cooked to perfection and served promptly by very friendly and helpful staff. Had both coffee and tea with the eggs and again both were delicious! Would thoroughly recommend this cafe any day for breakfast, lunch or a coffee but particularly for Sunday brunch - well done to everyone at Orka

A cute little cafe with lovely staff. Would recommend for sure. Vegan menu a little limited, I had avo toast and it was pretty basic. None the less had a lovely time
Great cafe, with tasty food, welcoming environment & outside seating (perfect in the sunshine when we visited!).
We had a lovely minestrone, chickpea & coconut soup (nicely spicy) with fresh artisan bread, a lemon drizzle scone (yes, really!) and a peppermint slice (choc on top, biscuity base with a middle layer a little like Kendal mint cake). Oh, and tea, of course :-)
The scone was beautifully light, and a surprisingly great flavour for a scone. The mint slice made a nice alternative for someone who loves a millionaire's shortbread or rocky road.
This little gem of a cafe is well worth a visit as is this lovely town of Ballater.
Had lunch a few weeks ago with friend. Server was very attentive and the food was superb. Had a selection of tray bakes which were also super. Very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back.
I had a lovely lunch at Orka Artisan Cafe. The soup of the day (vegetarian lentil) and cheese & sunblushed tomato panini with side salad were delicious. The hot chocolate, Victorian lemonade & cake slice were very tasty! The service was very fast & friendly, and I thought that my lunch was great value for money. The location of the cafe is very handy and the on street parking is free on a Saturday & Sunday. The on street parking is a minimal price during Monday to Friday office hours. I plan to use the cafe regularly when I’m working in the area. The food on the menu is healthy, has really nice flavours & is served quickly. Thank you Orka Artisan Cafe!
