We have eaten Sunday lunch at all the pubs in Aberdovey over the last month having recently moved to the area. The Dovey Inn was easily the best experience. The food was excellent and the service was five star. We will definitely be back!

Excellent. We did not book but they found us a table and accepted our dogs without any problem. The food ( Sunday roast) was very good value for money and highly recommended. Staff were very friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. We are going to Aberdovey again very soon and will booking a table for Sunday roast, can't wait.

We were welcomed nicely and a table set for nine was already for us (we had booked).
Staff were attentive and efficient but still had a friendly and happy approach to us and the children.
Food was cooked well and served together and drinks came beforehand and they even made me a pot of tea as I rarely drink alcohol .Meals were hot and plentiful. good choice and lots for children.

A great welcoming pub. Sophie was outstanding. A lovely welcoming smile. When she found out we had just arrived for a short break, she gave us some milk and corn flakes for the morning. Outstanding service! Thank you.❤️

We were greeted by Stuart, who looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. I liked that he remembered my name & used it. He had a excellent interaction with other customers while we were there. A brilliant member of staff to have at front of house, he's definitely an asset to your team.

A great little hotel. The rooms have been refurbished to a high level and were very comfortable. The food was excellent with good service and the cooked breakfast was top notch. A perfect stay especially after a long day on the green lanes in a 4x4.

We were in Aberdovey on a Monday night to be fair The Dovey Inn wasn't our first choice for somewhere to eat however on arrival we were greeted at the bar by Sophie who took our drinks order and the fabulous Sam took us to our seats we placed our order with Sam who did explain that there would be a slight wait as there was a large party in the lounge, which was no problem. The food could only be described as average which is the same for most chain pubs on the other hand the two young ladies Sophie and Sam were brilliant, this is the main reason to visit at times we can all choose the wrong option but the service is there every day, Well done Sophie and Sam
