This is the best place to eat and spend time in this great little village. The owner is just the nicest lady. Always ready for a bit of a chat and makes you feel like you are at home. Food is great. Amazing portion for the price and always tastes amazing.
Lovely food and so friendly. Quick service despite all 5 of us choosing different foods. Very homely. Loved it and would recommend if you just want honest food. 😊

A warm welcome extended from owner who engages in full and friendly conversation (when restaurant quieter), drawing on her 40 years experience in situ. Food is good quality with generous portions of homemade food from snacks to sandwiches to selection of "with chips" type meals.

Fantastic little gem of a place. Stood opposite when a couple we didn't know walked out and told us best hot chocolate ever! Went in wife agreed about hot chocolate plus my cappuccino and tea cake gorgeous!
We had a really lovely fish dinner here and the owner was more than happy to accommodate our dogs. Good value for money and friendly service, best to book ahead as it's small but perfectly formed 😁

Stumbled across this tiny place and was delighted with the whole experience. Lovely inside, lovely service, fast and fresh and generously portioned locally sourced food. Just perfect for our family meal. If your near here def pop in. Fantastic
Visited for lunch today with the family and couldn't fault it. Its a small venue so best to book ahead but nothing was too much trouble. Service and atmosphere was very good, we will definitely be back.

Ate here 20 years ago when I was 10 (now 30) and the fish and chips is just as fantastic and the host and atmosphere is homely and delightful! You will not walk away unsatisfied 😁
A lovely host, who never stops working. Very welcoming and clean. The Wife loved her hot chocolate.
