Absolutely fantastic location to stay. Very remote and very peaceful. The pub serves a variety of drinks and the staff cannot do enough for you. The toilets are clean and private. There's nowt I can really critique to be honest. Roads are a little narrow coming in but don't let this put you off. If you want a relaxing break in an idyllic location, this is the place.

There is also a very large reception hall, for parties to hire etc. It is also licenced to carry out marriages etc.
Also an excellent pub with a good range of drinks, coffee etc.
NO FOOD. Just drinks.
Very dog friendly too, & Adult only.
All in all a very relaxing stay.
I photographed a wedding here last Summer and it really is lovely. Great grounds and lots of natural and interesting areas for photographs. More than anything the whole place has such a relaxed vibe and fun to be at. I look forward to being back at the Hogs Head soon!
Great venue tucked away in beautiful countryside super wedding venue which is what we attended lovely day ,great food , atmosphere,great customer service very happy to thanks.
We camped here for 2 nights, so peaceful 😍, pub owners so friendly, chatty and made us feel welcome, made the effort to come and chat with us, pitch was perfect. The shower/ toilet cubicles were spotless and sooo much space, maybe just need hand towels or something to dry hands after using the toilet 🫣? Cannot fault the place would highly recommend & would defo stay again 🤗 thanks guys & wish you all the best , Mr & Mrs wring & the little one 🥰

Fabulous welcome for caravans & motor homes. Highly recommend, excellent pitch Stunning scenery, don't forget to check out the bar.
A very friendly welcome. We camped here for 2 nights and used the lovely clean facilities with plenty of hot water for showers. Nice pub with good drinks on tap and the friendliest landlord you could ever meet - a great chap.
Amazing place staff are fantastic we stayed on the campsite and everything was perfect nice and quiet 2 min walk to the pub fantastic and drinks was pretty cheap Will definitely be going back
We had our wedding here on 12th March as the character of the converted barn and its surroundings were exactly what we were looking for.
From the initial enquiry and booking, through to decorating and the big day itself, Dale and his family have all been stars in helping us with our perfect day.
Nothing was too much to ask for, plus Dale and his family were always cheerful and willing to help wherever possible.
The venue also has plenty of parking on site and is also very easily accessible by wheelchair too (essential for one of our wedding guests).
Likewise, the charming Hog Pods and Shepherd's Huts were cosy for guests staying over, but with camping pitches also on site for those attending with caravans and motorhomes.
I have no hesitation in recommending the Hogs Head for any wedding or event, especially given how beautiful the venue is and how well the place is run by Dale and his family.
