Absolutely loved the place. There was seven of us and food came quickly but obviously fresh . I made a mistake by ordering the scampi , don't get me wrong it was delicious but one of our party ordered the burger and it looked awesome. Will be back there again very very soon. Thanks a lot for a lovely meal.

We had a delicious 2 course Sunday lunch here today! Garlic mushrooms followed by a full roast beef dinner. The beef was sooo tender and served with extra gravy. The price was extremely reasonable and not only were we made very welcome but so we're our dogs . My partner also commented that they served a lovely pint of Guinness what more could you ask for. Well worth a visit.

Wow wow wow. Popped in for Sunday roast on the off chance and do not regret it. It was busy and most tables reserved, so I recommend you book if you know you want to go. Considering the time (teatime) and how busy they were the food was served incredibly quickly. We both had the roast lamb which was a very generous serving with perfectly cooked accompaniments including a home made Yorkshire pud! The mint sauce also tasted home made and was delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area

Called in here for some lunch while in the area as was dog friendly and wasn't disappointed old style traditional pub with traditional pub food. Great pub and good service couldn't fault it and was getting very busy. Food was good quality and reasonable prices. Will definitely be going back even if jst for couple of drinks. My new go to pub while in the area. Only down side no parking however slightly past it heading towards Ross on sea direction is a free car park. (Library car park) around 100 yards. Great to use while visiting here.

A lovely pub in Wales, a warm, friendly welcome on arrival from the waitress and landlord. There is a good range of traditional ales and bitters ,and a good range of lagers available, I settled for a pint of guiness which was well poured and tasted delicious. The menu has a good range of starters on offer and a good selection of traditional pub grub ,and a small selection of sweets. There is also a small specials board available. We settled on the lamb shank with mash potatoes and a selection of vegetables, the chicken curry with rice chips, and naan bread and a burger and chips they were all delicious and well presented ,we all left with full bellies .highly recommended 10/10

Recently had Sunday lunch as we have a caravan in the area. On arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant young girl. Ordered our drinks at the bar and she kindly offered to bring them over to our table. We had a prawn cocktail and garlic mushrooms to start both plentiful and delicious. I had roast beef and my husband had the roast turkey. All cooked perfectly and piping hot. The vegetables were fresh not frozen, mash and roast potatoes, homemade Yorkshire pudding, homemade stuffing, homemade gravy too. We actually could not believe how much meat we had it was just amazing and all their meat comes from the local butcher across the road Gwalia, absolutely delicious. Service was excellent and all staff were very welcoming. The whole experience was excellent and very good value for money.Definitely won't be our last visit. If you're in the area definitely give it a go.

Lovely old pub/ restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice clean and comfortable rooms. Close to main road so easy to find. Situated on edge of the village. Lovely views and close to coast after miles away. The good and service were great. The bar is well stocked and competitive in prices. We had a pleasant and comfortable weekend stay.

Just had out first meal here & couldn't fault it. Small menu but all the usual pub staples plus small selection of specials. We had Gammon, Beef Lasagne & Scampi n all were delicious. Dog friendly too. We were offered a water bowl but had taken our own and got dog treats too. Staff were all friendly & professional. Advise booking in advance as several walk ins had to be turned away.
