Great little takeaway tucked in the corner of car park next to the library.
Been going to this takeaway for 30 years. Never been disappointed.

I always order from Opal Den because their food is great but today my meal was outstanding! The lady who takes my order is always lovely and polite. My delivery came within 30 mins and was piping hot! My beef in black bean was superb! Really soft beef and lovely crunchy sweet veg, sauce spot on. Same goes for the rest of the food. Tasty noodles, rice and brown chicken curry. Everything just tasted so nice and fresh. I’ve been off my food lately and can’t remember the last time I really enjoyed a meal.... until this evening. It was delicious! Hardly ever write reviews but that’s how much I enjoyed my dinner :)
Excellent Chinese take away. Always worth the trip from Bridgend as nothing in the town centre comes close in terms of taste and quality. I had crispy beef and it was just that.... crispy.

Have been buying takeaways from here for many years when Alan was there. There is now a lovely young lady who is really helpful, friendly and polite. I would highly recommend you try their takeaways and enjoy the excellent service and delivery.
We normally order from a different Chinese however realised that had a low food rating so went about looking for a higher rated Takeaway. The Opel Den came up in the higher bracket so we ordered. Wow, glad we did, lovely food and good service. Yum.
Having been a quite frequent visitor for well over 10 years, we're yet to have a bad meal from here! By far the best Chinese take-away in Aberkenfig with fast service and reasonable prices!
And no dead rats out the back unlike the one opposite the old post office!!!

Always great food here - gets very busy on weekends, but this goes to show the demand for this well established takeaway. Highly recommend the salt and pepper chips as a side dish - awesome!👍

Love it when everytime it's perfect we actually travel in form a different area for it. They do need to work on the process of recieving calls for orders to try an optimise during busy periods even as little as a queue system on the phone rather than pot luck but everything else is great
