Review The Aberlour Restaurant - Aberlour

Had a lovely lunch there while passing with Rabbie's Whisky tour. Lovely food, the dishes are even a bit too generous. We maybe finished two thirds of the meat each. But as I said, they were delicious and very well prepared. Just take into account that it did take about 30 minutes for the food to be served, so if you're in a hurry, order one of their sandwiches as our friends did, sandwiches looked good and came out very quickly.

Lovely room and service. The heating was constantly on so the room was nice and cosy. The view of the river from the Glenlivet room is stunning. I also love the freestanding bath 😍. The owners are very accommodating, especially considering the circumstances. 10/10 would recommend a stay here.

Good value. Friendly staff. Menu not that extensive but a level above regular pub grub. Well put together and reasonable value: £7 for a basket meal, £10 for pie and chips, £25 steak and pepper sauce Taking Covid seriously so book to get a table

Lovely pub, exceptional food. Best pies I (or my son-in-law) have tasted! but our veggie partners were also very happy. Close to the Speyside way and I am sure gets many happy customers because of that.

This is some of the best I have had and would highly recommend their food if you like the look of anything on the menu which is on their website. I would strongly recommend phoning in to reserve a table as while we where there one person sadly had to be turned away. I ordered the roast duck leg for starters with a sirloin steak for main and to finish a homemade sticky toffee pudding. All the food is cooked to order so it took about 30 minutes for our main courses to arrive but starters arrived before then so it didn't ever feel as if we were waiting. Sadly after eating my starter I was too excited to try the rest of the food I forgot to take photos but I can say it looked just as great!

Awesome little place right next to the River Spey and walking paths. Stayed in the Glenffiddich room. Room was clean and cozy. Shower was a little small but the space was thought out and more than sufficient. The pub was stocked with a good selection of scotch and beers on tap. Breakfast service was fast and friendly. Had dinner their one night and was decent but nothing that was out of this world but good nonetheless. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a good place to stay if you are doing distillery tours or exploring the area.
