La Taberna - Aberystwyth - Photo album

This a very small and cosy tapas bar. However, service was of a high standard with an attentive waitress checking on us regularly. The food though was superb so tasty that we had to order more bread to soak up the delicious sauces the food was cooked in.
Food is good. Music is not. Also, tonight's waiter could have been a bit more friendly and definitely should improve his listening skills. It's a university town, after all. Maybe get accustomed to international accents..? No? Anyway, overall good experience. As usual. (but I prefer the other lady w
Variable quality but always at least pretty good and somtimes spectacular. The usual waitress is very nice and I thoroughly recommend the garlic & chilli prawns! Remember to bring cash (no cards) and they only have one beer on tap. Nice atmosphere, but usually need to book.
Fabulous place to dine. My husband and I have been coming here for the last 17 years at least, since it opened. Food is great, we've never had a bad meal here. Miguel and Vanessa are the perfect hosts.
Found this place by a lucky accident. This is the best restaurant in Aberystwyth by a country mile! Five of us had more than we could eat with beers and wine and it all came to £25 per head. The food was all top nosh too. This place will get many revisits from me!
Tucked away off the main street this is a little bit of real Spain. A well stocked menu with gorgeous fresh cooked food. Very reasonable prices and can make for a fantastic party spot or special place for intimate meal. Try it! 😂
Fantastic ambiance in this great Tapas eatery. Pleasant carafes of smooth red wine , glorious constant food. Well worth a second and third visit.
lovely little Spanish treat, food is amazing and real good service. highly recommended.
Good place to eat, took kids but they only tried a few dishes.
Again amazing food.. Pity it there is only a few people in when we come... Everyone out there must eat here get away from the pub food.
Traditional and a bit old-fashioned, but a great atmosphere and lovely service!
Little hidden gem just off Pier Street. Amazing food and great service
