What a lovely Spoons that is actually situated in Aberystwyth Train Station. Plenty of spacious areas and it is so light and airey in there due to the glass roof that floods the area by the train tracks in beautiful natural light. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast before leaving on our next port of call on our Welsh road trip. There is outside seating and the transport links are amazing with not only the train station on one side but the bus station on the other. A must visit

Very nice pub/restaurant. Amazing food and drink. Reasonable prices. Not too expensive and good atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place for friends and family. All sorts of options available including kids, vegan and vegetarian. Excellent and delicious desserts like the one I had in the picture. Ordering by app is also available and saves time ordering at the bar and waiting in queues.

I was looking for somewhere relaxing where I could have coffee and breakfast.
I've been to this Wetherspoons before, and I like it. There is car parking very near, allowing 90 mins of free parking.
There are four different areas of tables, including one under transparent cover, letting in lot's of light,
It's an interesting and renovated old building, nicely finished in my view, with wall prints and local history prints and photos. The carpet was different, in a style and colour I liked. Next to the coffee machines there are several pieces of art.
Food is the usual Spoons range, and for me it did the job. Service was good, and staff pleasant.

Great polite service, drinks were served not long after placing the order on the app and food came out shortly after that.. food was hot, fresh and tasty

Good food, friendly staff, clean premises, reasonable prices. This is a very busy place so, if you're in a hurry, best to go elsewhere as there is often a wait to get a table with it being so popular. I was surprised to see us 'oldies' out-numbered the younger generation as I thought it was the place to go for the youngsters! Families appear to be well catered for and there were a few with young children eating further down the room. Wasn't too impressed when we found out the 2 disabled toilets are kept locked and you need to get a key from the bar, I suspect this is to prevent all and sundry using them as the waitress said the others were upstairs - a rethink required with, possibly, a bit of remodeling, in my opinion.

Really pretty building - I absolutely love that it's a converted train station! Drinks came fast and so did food. It was all hot, freshly done and delicious! Staff are also really nice and attentive - making sure we had everything before leaving us with food. Couldn't fault it really - a good Wetherspoons experience in all.

A quite spectacular building in a very convenient location next to the railway station.
This is a well run Wetherspoon.
As usual the staff are very well trained and focussed on first rate customer service.
The food is good basic pub food however there are certain items that are significantly better such as the pizza and salads that are particularly good.
The only issue they I have is that the toilets need a deep clean and regular cleaning throughout the day. I am sure that they are cleaned however they are not up to the outstanding standard that I have come to expect from JD Wetherspoon.

Amazing restaurant in a very interesting location - old train station. Its polite staff provide very fast service. Prices are reasonable while food is really good quality, ideally hot and always well presented on a plate. I also love their long opening hours! Really recommend this place!

Great place to eat and drink - lots of choice on the menu, great prices, good service and didn't have to wait long for the food. Order via the app as quick and easy and there is a section you can sit at around the back which overlooks the train station which is quite quirky. Would recommend and would go back when next in the area. There is a kids menu too.

My husband and I went here on Father's Day. He ordered the large mixed grill but was told they were out of steak, chicken, and gammon. He was not happy. He ended up having a burger, onion rings, and chips. It was very nice but said if he had wanted a burger, he would have gone to Mcdonald's.
Food and soft drink for 2 was £22.
