Miller & Carter Didcot

The food was delicious & our server Reykin was polite, helpful & readily available if needed. Improve: signage for baby changing facilities, if the man showing us to our seats hadn't made it so obvious that he wasn't happy that we didn't want to sit where he first placed us-in the middle of the room where people may knock us & our children may disturb others.

Top marks for food, atmosphere and service. We were met by a bright, friendly greeter, and taken straight to our reserved table. Our server Stacey was welcoming, enthusiastic and professional in taking and delivering our order. No long waits or lack of attention throughout the meal. I love the chipotle chicken starters with chilli jam, and my wife lapped up the prawn and avocado appetiser. The food (Ribeye and Fillet minion) were prepared and served to perfection. Best steaks in ages! Fabulous chunky chips and sauces etc too. Timings on point. Really can’t fault this dining experience and we made sure to tell the staff. Previous visits have fallen a little short of the M&C standard enjoyed elsewhere (Bristol, Swansea, Southend on Sea) This time Miller & Carter was excellent! Can’t wait for next time.

We had 3-course set menu dishes and they were all delicious. Our server Ellie was amazing, very attentive and went above and beyond to help us and our little one. She anticipated everything we need and offered is such as a carrier bag, box to take left over food home. Thank you so much Ellie. We will be back again soon.

Food was served quickly and tasted great. We ordered the butchers block but was told they didn’t have bone marrow (which my husband was looking forward to trying), we were offered ribs instead. Mollie served us and she was kind, smiley and attentive. I had mentioned it was my husbands birthday so Mollie brought out a plate with happy birthday written on it and a card. I thought this was a lovely touch and really made our evening. Overall, we had a fantastic evening and would definitely return.

Lovely stop for some onward food. And we wasn't disappointed. Service was super, Mollie looked after us and she was superb. We had two young children with us who had already had a very long. The restaurant cartered to the children's tastes and I cannot fault them. Highly recommended We were under dressed due to travelling and this was not an issue. Which I was very happy. Or it was fast food across the road.... which I would rather not..... Great staff, very friendly from the start, very quick service, and cannot fault the waitress looking after us. Top job Mollie thank you. We will be back again. Highly recommended. Beautiful food, with highest of professional service.
