Very nice pub with great traditional food and excellent service. Sundays are clearly busy for the staff but they’re always friendly. Pat was very nice to the kids and we discovered that dogs are also welcome.

We have visited the Pig & Abbot a couple of times and each visit has been amazing. The food is the highest quality and you definitely get your money's worth with the portions! I would recommend the ribs and the cheesecake. The staff were lovely and welcoming. Parking is a little tricky but that is expected from pub this old and in this sort of location.

After a visit with my family today, can say with confidence that this place is a gem. All staff working incredibly hard to make the experience very positive and the menu does not disappoint. The attention to detail in this place is great to see with the place being very clean also. Food was absolutely amazing. I hope the Girls/women on shift today are able to read this message as you done amazing.

We enjoyed a wonderful family meal last night. Food was simply amazing but most importantly Pat the owner was totally amazing with our chap who was with us who has SEN. She gave us all her time and made our little chap so welcome and made us feel at ease too. A wonderful pub with the amazing staff and a landlady that's wonderful inside and out. Thenkyou

Delicious food with service verging on an episode from faulty towers! That said it's a fabulous local pub, with amazing pies, a delicious menu and a wide ranging selection of drinks. A number of gluten free options as well. Well worth a visit.

Always a great visit to the Pig and Abbot. The steak is always a great choice. The baked potato sublime and the lasagne perfectly cooked. The one thing i'd suggest is for the seats to be a little comfier. Other than this a fantastic experience.

A lovely welcoming old school English pub. Great food & excellent hospitality. A warm quaint pub with lots of charm and a real open fire. Dog friendly too! Parking is very limited with only a few parking spaces in the car park but the road outside is always available.
