Benjarong Restaurant

Tasty, if fairly standard, Thai food, the major reason we patronized this restaurant more than usual was that they delivered to our address. This they no longer do; we will likely be looking for another Thai place which does deliver Real Soon Now. Have never dined in here, but would be willing to post-COVID. Staff is friendly, food is good, and prepared quickly. If you live nearby, or they deliver to you, would recommend.

I've been disappointed by the food the past few times. The crispy chicken is way too overcooked and as a result the entire dish tastes burnt. I've only had one good experience with the crispy chicken. I had ordered delivery awhile back and was shocked that there was a note on my bag that I should have left at least a 20% tip... I was going to pay additional tip at the door with the cash that I had but when I saw that note on the bag, I was distraught. Will not return after that mentality. Very disappointed.

This place was SO good!! The food was absolutely fantastic. I highly reccomend the drunken noodles as well as the sweet and spicy noodles. I got crispy chicken on my drunken noodles and was NOT disappointed. We also got steamed dumplings that were fantastic, crab rangoons, and eggrolls. All of it was freshly cooked, served pretty quick and so flavorful. Do not sleep on this place! It is def. Worth it.

I got the mango curry and crispy pad Thai last night as a carry out. The pad Thai was not crispy and it didn’t taste like anything, which is hard to do because Pad Thai has a very distinct taste. And the trend was the same for the mango curry. It was more of a watered down broth than anything resembling curry. It tasted so plain that I ended up making my own curry sauce to add to it so I could eat it. Flavorless curry… have you ever heard of such a thing! Pretty bummed about it all because this restaurant is so close to my house I was hoping it would be my new go to.

We were going all the way to Watertown to have good tom yum soup and were not aware the gem in front of our nose. Good tom yum (i wish i had ordered shrimp. chicken did not tasted good in it), dumplings were Ok golden pockets are great. We got Siam chili fish and Benjarong Beef in garlic souce. Fish was delicious but beef was So so. it was dry hard to chew. Menu says spicy next to them but my son (5 yo and sensitive to spicy food) was able to eat tom yum and fish. We will definetely come back but will not order beef. We will stick with seafood.
