Went for lunch as staying in Banbury. Nice pub. If I lived there it'd be my local. Good atmosphere, friendly staff and no nonsense freshly cooked pub grub served nicely with decent portions. Good beer too.
A proper pub, not a gastro pub or a fine dining establishment. Wadsworth's beer on tap, the 6X was excellent. Only stopped for a cider on the bike at this beautiful old pub and enjoyed every minute, the landlord was a lovely man as well so all good.
Post in for lunch could not believe the price of the meals fantastic. Very good. Food was excellent service very good and the beers brilliant. Will definitely be back

This is a real pub that also serves food . I felt welcome the minute I stepped in . Food is really good and great value. Portions are huge ! This place is picture perfect .Sitting outside with a perfect pint and great company was unbeatable. Thank you Tony and Shani !!
