Had my Christmas Eve dinner here and was genuinely impressed! The Bouillabaisse was definitely the highlight - the soup tasted delicious with a complex flavour from all the fresh seafood in it. The amount of seafood was generous - crab, prawns, mussels, clams, salmon… A dish that warms up your night. The pork and thyme meatball was also amazing with the blue cheese sauce - meat was bouncy, juicy and flavourful. The night ended perfectly with the nougat parfait - rich, milky and nicely balanced with raspberry and coco powder. Scotch fillet was nicely charred and cooked. Escargot was a bit too plain for our liking - but maybe that’s the authentic French style. Definitely a hidden gem in Adelaide city and good for an celebratory occasion or just a casual nice dinner on the weekend!

My husband kindly booked to go for a belated Valentine's dinner. It was lovely. As soon as you walk in. It's a place you want to be in. Busy at 6pm. Staff were lovely and attentive. We had croquettes to start they were delicious. Then onto mains. We had beef cheek and a steak. Both meals were excellent. Onto dessert. We had creme brulee is was perfect. All the food was excellent quality. Well presented. Wine list was good. Dessert a must. We had a great night. Wine went down well. Would easily come back. This was a really good quality French restaurant. See you again 🍾🍷 Loved the atmosphere of the place. Bliss 😊

Dinner at @delicatessen_bar a couple of weeks ago before going to the symphony! We haven't been back here in a very long time. We have definitely missed the food here! . Shallot and goats cheese tart, salad: absolutely delicious! But not quite a tart in the traditional sense 😅. The goats cheese was not overwhelming, and worked really well with the dish. . Salmon fillet cured with local gin, dressed fennel & honey mustard: light and refreshing! Yummy 😋😋. . Chive & Raclette croquette: super crunchy outside, and the inside was super gooey 🤤🤤🤤. . Steak medium rare, served with fat chips and salad: the steak was spot on. Can't complain at all! The chips were fantastic too 🤤🤤. . Duck and pork sausage cassoulet: wow this dish was full of flavour! Absolutely delicious 😋😋. The duck was 🤤🤤.

Decided to visit this very high rated restaurant and experience some nice flavoursome food but unfortunately did not meet the hype 😞 All dishes that we ordered were pretty bland and missing that burst of flavours you expect. The garlic and walnut Escargot was bland and had hardly any garlic. I was with friends who are very big on French food and they were pretty disappointed. The baked brie sounded really good but i did not like it and it had a bitter taste to it. The one main dish i was looking forward to was the bouillabaisse!! But again left disappointed with very subtle flavours and the only seafood that tasted fresh and was cooked well was the salmon in it. All the other dishes needed salt and more flavour. One dish that wasn't to bad was the duck main with mash and mushroom and truffle sauce. The duck was cooked well and tasty but where was this truffle flavour you speek of? Overall unfortunately i won't be going back. ______________ In regards to the response from the restaurant, well done on you're "professional" response which will definitely get you 5 stars!!! No need to be a smart cookie!! Plus, lockdown and covid have nothing to do with adding seasoning on you're food! Or having a flavour that is mentioned on the menu but you can not taste! I never once questioned the service recieved either. You had plenty of staff on which again was never questioned but you decided to bring that up. If you are unable to take honest feedback by a paying customer that wasn't satisfied then maybe you shouldn't be running a business or responding to people who have every right to be honest. I was never rude or even harsh about the food!! Just honest and constructive. Would love to have you over for a meal in my house because i take feedback on board which would improve something that someone wasnt happy with!!

A really great experience dining here last night. The food was divine and scrumptious. I especially loved thw Scotch steak, which was perfectly cooked. So juicy and tender. Very easy to cut through. Prob the best steak I have had. The fat chips were fresh and crunchy. The salad was refreshing and tangy. My partner had their braised beef cheek, which was very rich in flavor. The crème Brûlée was heavenly and was not overly sweet. We had the tap beer and Pior Noir half bottle. The wine was great, for someone who only drinks every once in a while, I quite enjoyed it. The service was brilliant and everyone was very attentive and welcoming. The whole experience was very smooth and enjoyable. It was our first night in Adelaide and it was def unforgettable. All 5 stars
