Sushi In The City

Has a good selection of sushi rolls, in brown/red rice which is even more healthier option. The salad and noodles don’t always taste fresh unfortunately. Seating inside feels odd as is seems really bare, the walls need something to make it feel more inviting. Dropped in few times after 2pm and there’s always end of day specials to clear stock.

Heaps of different sushi rolls but I had the pork curry which I have to admit didn't really work, just an odd mix of tastes. The place is quite open and was a little cool sitting in there. Very friendly service and hate giving it only 3 stars but that was my experience today. I might go again, try some sushi instead and reconsider.

This place has gone downhill quite a bit. Limited selections available. 1pm and no sushi with raw fish. Way more empty space in the fridges than sushi to choose from and no offer from staff to make something fresh... just pointing me to an $8 tray of sashimi... the sushi is tasty though and good vego options.

One of my go-to places for lunch. Their bento boxes are good value for money and if you want something warm on a cold winter day, the udon bowls are the way to go. I usually eat in because they make their fried cutlets fresh. The result is juicy slices of meat wrapped in a crispy panko batter. Their friend chicken salad is also very good. Their service is quick and efficient and the staff is helpful and friendly. Punches well above it's weight when you compare it to the other lunch outlets around it.
