Sammys Fish And Chips

Sammy's Fish & Chippery is superb value for money and the food is awesome. As mentioned by previous reviewers the food is absolutely delicious. I got my order through uber and it was warm and extremely generous in sizing. I got 2 pieces of crumbed butterfish with chips and 2 sauces and a can of drink for $24. Too much for lunch.

Really good! The fish was gorgeous from here. The AB’s looked great, but most of us stuck with fish/calamari packs. I really enjoyed the butterfish, however the chips could’ve done with some more seasoning/salt. The food travels well as we got an Uber delivery, a large order as well, and we all got exactly what we asked for. Awesome place.

The mantle for Adelaide's best fish and chips is heavily contended....for years places like Soto in Semaphore have come to mind. For me however Sammy's Fish & Chippery is one of the strong contenders. For the last few years I have been a regular customer attending every week or two and working my way through their menu. It all starts with their chips which are extraordinary but Sammy tells me that his secret is simple.... Fresh seafood, regularly changing his oil and lots of family history in the Fish & Chips game. Their fish and chips are amazing but there are also some hidden gems including their fish burger (I will never eat another Fillet-o-Fish), Calamari Yiros and Double Beef and Bacon Burger. So great to have a place like this near me.
