Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar Torrensville

Great Pizza, high quality ingredients with a higher than cheap takeaway pricetag. You can tell they are a quality feed when you order a pizza and can't get through it, it's because they actually fill you up, as opposed to cheap takeaway pizzas that leave you with nothing more than a salty taste in your mouth and still hungry. It's not wood oven, and it's not as authentic as some, so it's not the _very best_ pizza in my opinion, but as a takeaway / free delivery with the app, it's about as good as it gets, and better than a large majority. Consistent quality, customisable with the app very easily and free delivery. Perfect.

Liars, unprofessional + treat customers like idiots. On arrival I give my name + am told ready now, would you like to pay? Sure, so I do. As my order was being prepared so were a couple of others, and somehow my order gets bundled with another customers and leaves the store (as I realise afterwards). I ask a staff member where my order is, did it go out with someone else's? No, there's just a mix up with the order dockets I'm told. Before long the manager is quietly talking with the initial staff member who told me my order was ready and then starts making exactly what I ordered! I ask the manager what's going on and he tells me my order will be ready soon, just as he puts the replacement order into the oven, at which point I've had enough and call him for lying to me. I asked for my money back, which I got, but I asked why they couldn't just be honest with me? I prefer to be told the truth. His response was it would make no difference, but I'm sorry, it would make all the difference. I was loyal to Crust, loved their pizzas, but I will not spend another cent at Crust.

This Crust used to be the favourite in Adelaide and the closest to our house. Peri peri chicken and truffle beef rossini used to be our top two choices. And even though there was a certain period of time when they had some troubles with their truffle sauce and used garlic aioli instead, they still remained our favourite. Today we went to get truffle beef rossini and noticed that staff completely changed and so probably have the owners, because pizza we received was a complete disappointment. There was not even a hint of truffles, no sauce on top whatsoever, not even that garlic aioli that they used as a replacement before and I should note that they used to warn about it. Now - not even a word about it. Wild mushroom medley consist only of champignons. And the dough got soggy in 10 minutes. It's not a gourmet pizza, it's a disaster. We will also try the one in Norwood, hopefully the owners didn't change there
