Went for Christmas dinner. £80 a head for 3 courses plus mince pie and tea or coffee after. It was absolutely delicious. And the service from the staff was brilliant. Nothing was rushed, all came at a nice place, just enough time between courses and a smile on every staff members face.

Visited for Sunday lunch after a lovely walk round one of the local reservoirs. I had an excellent roast beef for about £12. Generous portion with good variety of veg. The homemade curry was also lovely. Had a pint of Bowland Pheasant Plucker followed by one of White Witch by Moorhouses. Both excell

Just had a meal here. Absolutely gorgeous, friendly staff very attentive. Creamy garlic mushrooms roast beef dinner, the beef was so tender. Cheesecake for sweet, all this for £12.95 on the Monday munchies madness menu. Very good portions. I would recommend the food here 💯.

We really like this pub, we’ve only used it for eating in with family, but the atmosphere is friendly, chilled and comfortable, the food isn’t the cheapest tbf, but, it’s good! You pay for what you get! It’s not standard frozen pub grub, it’s really nice. Portions are quite big too, so you do get va
Great food, cracking little place… can get a little cold if sat near to the front door on cold days. But it wouldn’t put us off calling again for lunch! Lovely presented tasty food! We’ll be back!
The cardwell is a fantastic friendly pub that serves wonderful food, the Sunday roast is especially delicious, I tend to go for the monster roast, that has 3 different meats on it, you would struggle to find a nicer meal, all the staff are lovely and friendly, can't fault the cardwell and to give it
