The Spitfire Pub And Kitchen

Myself and my Wife booked in for meals along with 22 more of my family after 2 of my Daughters Christening. Pre ordered meals so great idea just to pay in one transaction. Due to a miscommunication early of area sat where booked to eat this was very quickly rectified. So professionally done in a amazing manner. The whole staff including the chefs and also Mark the manager went all out to make sure our celebrations continued to be a memorable one which it was. Great service, great food/drinks, great play area outside for the children and overall great place! Thankyou once again and very much appreciated for all your hard work and going all out for us. Shall be going here so many more times now.

This is the second time of going within 2 weeks. We were greeted quickly and were made welcome. The Staff very friendly and polite and sorted us, out with tables to accommodate 8 adults and two little dogs. Treats and water for the dogs were shown to us. Ordering was easy and efficient at the bar and everything was read out to us to check it was all correct. Service was quick (but then we were the only ones in there). Food was lovely and just the right amount (not to much, not to little) prices are good as well. We will certainly go back again. With all the changes that have happened over the last year or so we wish the new owners all the best because they are two lovely people.

We had a family birthday celebration at the Spitfire, it was on a busy Sunday afternoon and we all had a wonderful time. Everything was organised before hand with Mark, and we were given a private area, which we decorated as we wanted. The buffet and service were excellent, there was more food than we could eat. We had a wonderful afternoon, everyone, including the children were made very welcome. I would highly recommend the Spitfire

Went for Saturday lunch. The restaurant was much quieter than I expected but that meant we got a nice table in the conservatory. The order was one fish pie, one fish and chips and one almond pesto linguini with a sea bass fillet. The fish and chips was excellent (huge fish). The fish pie was lovely and full of fish, but the mashed potatoes could have been better. The linguini was a little disappointing, quite a small portion and lacking in flavour. All in all, a pleasant visit and good value, but some room for improvement.

Wow! What a beautiful venue. Food was really nice. we got a few of the sharers and it was plenty and reasonably priced. Place was clean, staff were friendly and really accommodating. Gemma is a true asset to your business, she knowledgeable and very professional. Will definitely be back. Thanks for a great visit everyone.
