We had a fabulous meal at Zante this evening. The chef made us feel right at home, even though the menu looked much different than what we usually see in the States.
I had the Greek salad; the portion size is quite large, but it was delicious. My husband had the grilled olive bread. He loved it.
For mains, we went with chicken pitta skepasti (a sort of grilled sandwich) and the lamb stiffado, a stewed lamb dish. The latter was so good, I wanted to lick the plate. Husband also like the skepasti, which had great flavors.
The chef talked us into a piece (a large piece!) of baklava. Not too sweet (yay!) and delicious.
The restaurant is across the walkway from an NHS building. Kinda hard to find, but worth it.

We attended this restaurant for our 3rd wedding anniversary as it was recommended by friends. We were not disappointed as the food was exceptional and also the greek owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. A wee gem in Airdrie and we will definately be back soon. Many thanks

What a great find! Food was absolutely fantastic, all freshly made, not often you get that these days. Bit pricey but big portions, and the artisan bakery within is truly delicious. Worth a drive if you don't live in the area.

Love this place. It feels like you are on holiday when you step inside. Staff and owner are lovely and so friendly. Food is great and the portions very generous. They are celebrating their 3rd birthday this week and I hope they have many more.

Visited today for my husbands 40th birthday meal and loved it!! Hidden gem we didn't even know was there til very recently. Fantastic authentic Greek food, Mythos and very good service. Will definitely visit again soon.
