A good, friendly restaurant. Food was above average - could almost be part of a chain. Friendly enough staff, quick enough service, clean enough premises, just lacked that special oomph in the night we attended and given the size of the place was quite impersonal. I didn’t get the feeling that this was intentional, and in fact there is evidence all around of a caring private owner. Not expensive - perhaps if they halved the size of the premises, got two restaurants, made the food more authentic and less American / Italian, raised the prices, and made the atmosphere more convivial rather than machine like, it could just be that bit better. But, it is entirely possible that this existing model works financially, and in these troubled times that is no small achievement. Definitely a place to visit and see what you think.

Good food at a fair price. The pizza was fantastic but we were slightly disappointed with the lasagne (it was very tasty but too runny). The service was good but could have been better as we had to wait for some more drinks when we ran out during the meal. Overall it was good and will definitely return.

Great service and set menu is great value for money. Staff very accommodating allowed us to move our booking forward 45 minutes because we ended up arriving early. Portions great size. Highly recommend the honeycomb sunday as a dessert.

We hadn't been for a while and I must say it was worth the wait. Had a beautiful fillet steak with Rossini sauce. Absolutely amazing. Likewise the rest of the meal including dessert was a treat. Staff so pleasant and welcoming. Lovely to see some familiar faces again. Will get back at some point.

Really friendly service and fantastic food. Been living in Airdrie for about a month now and a few people have suggested this place. It books up quick at the weekend so we chose to go on a week night. Was not disappointed at any point. Waited a little while longer than we would have liked for he food but it was worth the wait. Service was spot on right until the end, asked for the bill it came quickly but then nothing. We had to go up with the bill to pay. Most people pay by card by default now and when you ask for a bill and a card is out on the table it's an indication that a card reader is needed. It is a mobile device they have don't really know why it was never brought over but we did wait around 10 minutes and decided just to walk up and pay. This is a personal pet hate but not enough to make me rate any less than 5/5.

Normally quite expensive but the current lunchtime menu is excellent and really well priced at only £6 a course. We had 3 course, 3 drinks and a couple of sides all for £38.
That's better than The Tudor and The Mint. Thoroughly recommend this deal!

I was there today and the staff were fantastic so attentive and it was really busy.
I had the seafood starter it was nice then the polo vino blanco and the sauce was out of this world and very well seasoned with fries and I asked for garlic bread and it was a 10" inch pizza style just wonderful but I had to bring most of it home the portions are big
It was the best meal I've had in a long time 😀😀😀

Went here for our first visit yesterday. i had ordered a half portion of the spaghetti bolognese with a salad. my partner ordered the fish and chips.
I don’t recommend the bolognese, it was practically tasteless, I didn’t get offered any Parmesan cheese either (which may have made it have a bit of a taste) very disappointed as i was really looking forward to it.
The salad was just ok, if I’d of known what was in it prior to it coming out, then i would of asked for more red onion (stingy portion)
The fish and chips my partner had was awesome, he couldn’t fault it. maybe i should of just had the fish and chips.
The actual place was heaving, so maybe if I’d of had a different meal i could understand the attraction as to why it was so busy. (maybe regulars)
Too much waiting staff just standing around idle too.
All in all i WILL give this place another chance by ordering something else before giving up, as i like to be fair and see if they can redeem themselves

I had been years ago and didn't enjoy my meal and I had seen so many people raving about this place thought yeah I'd give it another go when a friend asked where to go for lunch. We were here yesterday and I had off the set lunch meal I ate because at thy point I was starving we had been sitting for what felt like a fortnight before any member of staff came near us and at that we had to shout them over! The service throughout was extremely slow and it wasn't like the place was full to be rushed off their feet! That alone puts me off going back again!

Slightly disapointed as I really love this place and order a lot from here, usually food is fantastic, although lastnight it was to be questioned I ordered a fillet steak with fried mushroom and tomatos, they tomato and mushroom came in the same dish which obviously ruined everything drowning my mushroom in tomato juice, sloppy chef never even seasoned things like the usual chef.

Food was great as usual when it eventually arrived ..... had to ask twice for our main course ....waiter Michael was lovely ... although would have liked update on what was taking so long with food .... the other down point was how cold we were .... my friend ended up wearing jacket and I had to put on a shawl .... frezzing not a good way to eat dinner .....this is my fav place to eat and can't believe how disappointed again

Great ambience and attentive staff. Good theatre style kitchen and some great cocktails. We have had better penne polo arabiata elsewhere albeit at higher prices. All in all a good authentic Italian place.

Disappointed...used to love going here, especially the large Antipasto Misto starter which my good lady and I share seems to be diminishing every time we go to the point they don't even include the blue cheese any more. My steak this visit was rare as opposed to medium rare which I ordered, no biggy but it just adds to the overall disappointment. Unlike a lot of people on here I cannot fault the serving staff, excellent as per usual.

We are fairly regular to Guidis, especially for lunches or early evening menu. We were spending Christmas vouchers yesterday. I felt the pasta was slightly undercooked yesterday, hence the 4 stars. Girls serving all very pleasant and efficient.

Food was delicious as always but very disappointed they staff never came back near us to ask if we need more drinks or if we wanted desert we would have had more drinks and cocktails but poor service so just moved on 🤔
