We wanted somewhere nearby with a relaxed atmosphere, good food and drink, and the Cricketers was perfect. They were really helpful in dealing with a food allergy and making sure it didn't impact the meal. Warmest welcome, generous portions of great food, and a perfect pint. Can't really ask for mo
We had such a lovely meal with our Yorkie in this fabulous village pub. Food quality was fantastic, the staff attentive and the vibe awesome. If we are in the area again, we'll definitely be back.
Superb! Really friendly, helpful team with a good sense of humour as well as top customer care skills. Excellent food and a really lovely atmosphere! Loved it. Would love to come back. It's just how a good village pub should be. Seats at the bar, woodburner, TV, comfy chairs. Something for everyone.
Fantastic little pub on the edge of a quintessential English village green. Menu was really interesting with both pub classics and some dishes that are a little bit different. All food cooked to order and everything we had was amazing. Would highly recommend.
On holiday in the area and saw the signs and decided to give it a go, and boy were we glad we did. Went on a lovely lunchtime and ordered the baked haddock and the burger, outstanding. Staff very attentive, looking after us and the dogs. It is very dog friendly. Will be holidaying in the area again
Great food, service and atmosphere, what more could you want. Traditional style village pub. Dog friendly. Had such a good visit we went back 2 nights later! The roasts were very tasty with good quality ingredients and the cheese board was fantastic. Highly recommended.
This pub is a proper gem! The staff are friendly and super helpful. The food is tasty and served in generous portions. They cater for children and always give our dog a fuss. My last visit was for my birthday with my girlfriends and we had a wonderful steak lunch! I do recommend calling ahead to boo

The food is excellent, the service unfailingly friendly and the clientele a nice mix of sociable locals, passing day trippers and lunc
