Old pub with some rugby memorabilia on the walls. Adnams beers on tap and a pizza shack in the beer garden. Dog friendly and will allow outside food as long as you buy alcohol.
John Walsh
The pub sells beer. The pizza shack in the the garden sells great pizza. The chipper beside the pub sells delicious fish and chips. And the pub is happy for you to eat pizza or fish and chips in the garden (as long as you buy a drink from the pub). Happiness!

Supreme quality pizza - friendly welcome - popular location all make this a great place to dine on a summer evening. Top of my grandsons' wishlist when they come to stay!

Lovely simple pub serving good beer conveniently situated next to the Aldeburgh Fish and Chip shop. Perfect

A proper pub! Was a great visit. The staff all had great energy and clearly enjoy their work.
Drinks came fast with no issues, delicious.
The pub itself is next to the Suffolk coast, near a famous chip shop. Great place to finish off after a walk.
It was slightly busy though, and luckily for us some people quickly finished up their drinks for us and free'd up a table.
Will be back. Thanks!

Pub in Aldburgh situated moments away from the seafront and right next to the famous Aldburgh fish and chip shop. You can eat F n C in the pub garden providing you purchase a drink on the premises. Very dog friendly.

Always our go to pub when in Aldburgh. It mixes local people and visitors giving a warm atmosphere. Unpretentious. A drinkers pub.

Small pub on the high street with regular Adnams fare. The Break Point farmers style ale was very nice. Plenty of seating at the side and back of pub.
Micky Pryke
Great Adnams beers in a food free old fashioned wooden floored coastal pub.
Dogs welcome, no under 18s

A great location right on the sea front. The room ( superior seaview) was huge with a very large comfortable bed. The bathroom had a double sized shower which was brilliant. Breakfast was a good choice, my husband had the full English which he said was great.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately the restaurant was only open Thursday onwards due to staff issues and is an Indian restaurant. We didn't get to try it as we were leaving on Thursday.
The lighting in the bar at night was so bright it ruined the atmosphere so it didn't feel very cosy. But otherwise a lovely stay.

Nice beer, chips from next door, in the sun. What else do you need?
Dog friendly too.

Loved being able to eat delicious fish and chips from the chippy next door while enjoying a nice pint of Adnams Old in the beer garden.

Lovely friendly little pub at the far end of the High street, they allow you to bring fish and chips from the chippy next door into the beer garden to eat as long as you purchase a drink (or three). Some of the beer garden is undercover. Ground floor area with a small amount of seating inside. There is a small lip at the door but I think most wheelchair users would be OK navigating. Dogs welcome. Good prices too.

The pub is extraordinary in that the bar, the only drinking room, remains virtually unchanged since I first visited over 40 years ago. I love the old stained glass windows and the scrubbed deal tables, in particular. Children not allowed inside, although dogs are clearly welcome (not sure what that tells us?)There is a good yard behind the pub with benches and tables. A fairly recent addition (a few years) is the wood fired pizza oven in the yard. You are also welcome to bring in fish and chips from the adjacent shop providing you buy some drinks at the bar. More benches on the street in front of the pub which catch the afternoon sun. All in all, a very good place

What more could you want? For all those people who can remember the pubs of yesteryear - a truly "old fashioned" drinking establishment! No flashing machines, no loud music - just the best Adnams beer. Positively no people under eighteen allowed. That's it really; people who drink there - well there are all sorts - locals, people on weekend breaks etc. Take your pick, you'll always find somebody to talk too!

Great couple of days in this pub with fab beer and friendly locals. We would recommend all day long

In the not too distant past there were many lovely pubs selling a good pint of beer. Times change and many are now closed or restaurants with perhaps a small bar where drinkers take play second fiddle to diners. The White Hart offers a single bar pub, dog friendly, roaring fire when cold, friendly staff and locals and above all, a superb pint of beer. And, if you do want to eat you can get an artisan made pizza around the back in the summer. Great pub.
Colin Offord
A truly old fashioned locals pub & just what was needed for a swift pint on Christmas Day, everyone is chatty & friendly even though we only visit when we stay at our friends house!
Adam Stanley
Great little place. Busy and a good vibe. Close to the chip shop too.
John Andrews
One of my favourite coastal haunts. Great beer and right next to a lovely stretch of coastline and a great chip shop. What’s not to like?
Linda N Aidan Brown
Great pub where you can leave the hubby while queuing next door for fish and chips. Great atmosphere
Jonathan Tubbs
This place is uniquely social and relaxing in a simple
space that is full of atmosphere and character
Very rarely does a pub achieve this so effortlessly.
You can't roll this out to other pubs that try so hard.
It's in its bones

JJ Jeffrey
Great location, pub and beer garden with fantastic beers........what more could you ask for
David Calvert
I've been going to this pub since the early 80's and I love it. If you just want a pub with a bit of character that serves a great pint, then the White Hart is for you.
David Mackinnon
Great pub, great beer and a fantastic relationship with the chippie next door!
Jay Greenfield
The pub was great! Fish and chips from next door was phenomenal and next time we'll get the pizza!
Sue Pike
We are hoping to move to Aldeburgh soon so thought we'd check our the pubs. We loved this one. Dog friendly but no children in the bar. No aires and graces. Will definitely be making this our local if we manage to complete on the house purchase.
