Fabulous food one of the nicest Fish and Chips I have had in a long time (proper Chips as well) beautiful beer battered cod, lovely friendly staff and Lizzy the new owner, we will return 😊

Visiting family from Cornwall so taken here for lunch. Empty except for us - but wonderful food - especially the salmon dish - I can imagine it's very busy weekends etc. Staff friendly and helpful - will return on next visit

Came here for Xmas dinner and the staff were very warm and welcoming they were very accommodating and went above and beyond to make our Christmas as special as it could be. The food was great and the atmosphere was fun. Thanks for our Christmas meal!

We had a smashing night celebrating our son and daughter’s joint birthday parties. May, Chad and all the Oakwood team made it a very special and memorable night. Exec Chef Andy did a great job feeding the masses. Our guests had a wonderful evening and I can’t recommend the Oakwood hospitality enough. Look forward to a Sunday Roast there in the coming weeks. Nice decor and plenty of tables inside and out. Nice location with plenty of nice cars going past outside.
I personally enjoyed my chicken burger, however, my partner found her steak burger to be quite dry/chewy.

Fantastic Sunday lunch!
Just been today, 3 of us enjoyed the meal, Beef roast, chicken roast and sea bass…
Great service, great atmosphere and very comfortable surroundings…
