The staff, food and overall experience are always fantastic! Even when it’s busy the very attentive staff are very friendly and efficient. We feel very fortunate that this is our local pub within walking distance!

Had a wonderful time here with my friend!! The beer garden is lovely and the pints are a competitive price. Star of the show was Sandy though, she was so polite and more then happy to go out of her way to ensure our evening was perfect :)

This pub have lovely food a bit on the pricey side but she was well worth it. The food was great. The problem was lovely and the staff were really great. Just slightly out the way of anywhere but it's well worth going

Beautiful, clean, good choice of drinks. Super friendly and efficient staff. Dog friendly. Board games available to use free of charge. Did not eat but saw food being served and it looked really good and by comments said by diners it must have been as good as it looked.

Had an excellent Sunday Lunch with my family at The Bell today. Our server Katherine was brilliant and gave us great service. Only one criticism; WHERE IS THE B&P TRACTOR? Searched the garden with my granddaughter but tractor was there none.

We had a very enjoyable stay at The Bell, the team there were very attentive, helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived. We found the menu choice varied and with such a range difficult to choose what to have, we were not disappointed when the meal arrived. The drinks choices- the beers ,wines and cocktails were well presented, good quality and served promptly. Great job by Rachael and all the team at The Bell Alderminster.

The Quintessence of British Hospitality Tucked away in the serene landscapes near Newbold on Stour, The Bell on Stratford Road is more than just a pub—it’s an emblem of hearty British hospitality enveloped in a cozy, rustic charm. Its picturesque setting is a precursor to the warm and inviting ambiance that awaits within. Upon entering, the harmony of traditional decor with contemporary comfort catches your eye. The stone walls, timber beams, and the gentle crackling of the fireplace create a comforting cocoon that makes the British weather part of the charm rather than a foe. The culinary journey at The Bell is a delightful exploration of classic British fare mingled with modern twists. With a menu boasting locally sourced ingredients, each dish tells a story of tradition, quality, and a love for hearty, comforting food. The Sunday roast, in particular, stands as a testament to the chef's dedication to preserving the timeless essence of British cuisine, while their selection of ales and wines cater to both traditional and modern palates. Service at The Bell is warm, friendly, and exceptionally attentive. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience, embodying the essence of hospitality that makes you feel at home. The Bell doesn’t just offer a meal, but a genuine taste of British tradition served with a side of modern-day comfort. It’s a place where every visit is not just a dining experience, but a warm, welcoming embrace amidst the beautiful countryside.

We held a university reunion at The Bell, hiring one of their rooms for some privacy. The staff could not have been more helpful - they were all great. The food was standard Brunning and Price, so tasty, and not too expensive. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

I’ve stayed at The Bell twice for work trips after finding it on a Telegraph list of places to stay in the area. What a fantastic place. It’s a lovely, high quality, traditional pub in a great location. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely top quality (I had dinners and breakfasts) - a varied, interesting menu clearly put together by a very competent chef. The rooms are immaculate, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. If I had to find faults, I’d say it would be good if breakfast service started at 7am rather than 7:30am to make it easier to get away quickly in the morning, but I imagine most people are staying for leisure rather than business so probably aren’t affected by this. The prices are a little high, but I suppose you get what you pay for. Overall a fantastic place - would definitely recommend

Great food as always. Friendly and helpful staff make it a fun event every time. We would certainly recommend it as our favourite venue for inside or outside dining. And it is dog friendly.

A lovely dog friendly pub with friendly staff and delicious, well presented food. We had the light bite steak sandwich and fries and salmon and haddock fish cake with poached egg
