I stayed over in aldershot on a business trip with a couple of work colleagues. We decided on jd weatherspoons for a couple of drinks and I'm glad we did. It's very close to shops and fast food outlets, the pub itself has a lovely atmosphere and I have to give compliments to the team that work here nothing is a bother for them especially the young lady behind the bar. Shaunie if I remember rightly she made us feel very welcome from the off. I would definitely recommend based off this and I'll be sure to pay another visit when back down that way A*

This is not a review about the hotel. I dropped in to Wetherspoons for breakfast last Saturday. I am usually a Sunday breakfast customer as Wetherspoons is the only establishment that is open early enough (8am) to allow me to set out early to hit the motorways. Experience has taught me not to expect much. Mind you, I am not paying much either. However, hats off to the Saturday crew. Ordering was easy, breakfast came quickly, service was friendly and to my utmost surprise, given previous experience, the breakfast was piping hot. At the similar establishment in Stratford-upon-Avon the breakfast has never got above an almost acceptable warm. So well done folks. The price, well, the second largest breakfast with extra black pudding and refillable coffee came to just over a laughable £7. Will I be back. Yes, of course. 3× for location. It is Aldershot town centre 🙂
