We had tea and cappuccino it was delicious and we had tea cakes yummy

Place was very busy 3 of us just popped in for a light lunch...one had omelette..very nice, one had ham and egg salad,only one thin slice of ham,salad was OK but literally filled with chopped lettuce to boost the appearance I had burger standard taste not great but OK...place was spotless service was quick and staff were very nice would definitely go again..as I said it was very busy
Only went for breakfast.
Poppins is very clean and doesn't have that greasy feel to the place like you get in alot of these type of places. Staff very welcoming, give you time to seat and look at what you want. Only went for breakfast and the food was your standard British fry or breakfast sandwiches, if you are looking for more healthy options then Poppins is not the place for you. Looking at the main menu it's British cafe food everything comes with chips.
Overall 4 stars as Poppins did nothing wrong, Breakfast was nice and it will always be to someone liking. I personally wouldn't choose this place again for breakfast as I don't like the choice for breakfast opinion.

Nice place, very friendly staff (all seem to have a good mood and attitude and that shows through with customsers) Having table service is massive bonus, makes it feel more personal.
Prices are good, tables are clean and the outside tables are a bonus (although it's still a bit cold to sit outside when I visited).
Strong coffee too.
The breakfast, the whole menu, real ice cream in your milkshake, not just flavoured milk. Amazing staff, polite, and well brought up, go most Saturdays for a mega breakfast, 😋 yummy,
I visited here on the recommendation of my good friends LuLu and Paul AND I will definitely be returning to sample more things off the menu!!
