This is a nice little village fish and chips shop. Great friendly service. Did a lovely piece of streamed fish for a gluten free member of the family. Not greasy, very tasty. Well wrapped to get back to the caravan still hot.
This is my favourite chippy it is a fabulous place to get that special fish and mixed, it’s a busy chip shop but worth the queuing time, they have a great ordering system that makes the experience even better 5⭐️
We were on holiday in the area and tried the cod and chips. Very thin batter and well cooked chips, absolutely delicious.
We regularly visit here after moving to the village. The staff are always friendly and the service is excellent. The quality of the food is excellent and well cooked. In our opinion the best fish and chips we have had. I would highly recommend going here and enjoying some excellent chips.

Delicious. 5 people and all really enjoyed our varying options. Plenty people ordering but not long to wait. Generous portions, nicely cooked. Friendly staff, clean and tidy around. Off and on street parking outside. Definitely worth the trip a few extra miles, particularly on a lovely sunny evening
Great fish and chips, was really nice food, chips dry not at all greasy, fish batter was light and white flakes of cod, recommend visiting here

I've eaten at a lot of chippy's around the country and this one is quite simply the best one around (and thankfully my local!) Food is consistently good and always hot. Staff are always pleasant. Probably slightly more expensive than some but definitely worth it for the quality. Be prepared to queue

Fantastic grub, it was a 20 mile round trip to get our evening tea. We'd already heard fantastic reviews about this chippy. The fish is renowned for being the best around
I asked for haddock, but you don't do it so I left with cod instead.
It was absolutely beautiful, fried in the lightest and crispiest batter I have EVER had.

Always a queue and always worth the wait. Everything is so very fresh. Don't expect to be in and out in 5 mins. pineapple fritters are a fab choice if you are greedy like me and you need something sweet for after your fish and chips. Take cash as cards not taken, take an umbrella if it's raining or
