We went for our Friends Birthday last night. Fantastic pies, delicious rich and very meaty. Bread and butter pudding was Gorgeous. With plenty of delicious custard. Definitely will be returning.

Lovely and cosy old fashioned pub.
Had a great meal. Substantial portions. Had steak and ale pie, chips and veg. Couldn't fault it.
Excellent welcome with very friendly service. Made a great effort to make us feel at home & really welcomed our guide dog. Food is amazing value with a good selection available, including fab proper pies with pastry top & bottom. Vegetarian option also available. Fab deserts with custard if desired
Great traditional pub! Nice pie and chips, with a good choice of pies. Good size portions, great prices.
