Called in today as a party of four with a dog. Been here numerous times and it never disappoints. Plenty of people in for a Monday afternoon but not crowded. Good selection of Ales and everyone who calls in is made welcome. Very popular with all walks of life and dog friendly in bar and garden area.

A fabulous place to stay. Nice food, very clean and lovely staff/owners. Would have been 5* but the noise from late on live music spoilt our stay. Should gave ended at 8pm being a Sunday but it was still deafening us at 10.20pm...would recommend staying but not when live music is advertised as there

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Parking is an issue as there is zero on site parking, there is space for a few parking spaces for overnight guests which could be utilised. Rooms are lovely, very good standard. Surpassed our expectations. Breakfast was small, which was a shame, but what was there

Nice little pub serving amazing pizzas (the Stilton and mushroom is my new favourite!) Great atmosphere, especially for the quiz night.

Really friendly, lovely staff and great choice of pale ales and other beers. The pizza’s are delicious as well. The beer garden is huge and has a great atmosphere.

Great pub/Hotel, fantastic location, room was lovely with a mega comfy bed, great staff & the food was superb, would highly recommend.

Location fantastic , rooms really clean and smart. Lovely beer garden at the back especially when the sun is shining. All the staff are really friendly and welcoming.

Went in for lunch as we were passing through on our way home and had the Pizzas, they were amazing! Will go again when we are next up that way!
