The most amazing café, make this your must see stop. The milkshakes are amazing, and the cakes are the best you will have eaten. Rose raspberry cake? YUM. Pistachio, apricot and orange blossom cake? HEAVEN! The owner is the nicest person ever, so friendly and welcoming. She even hands out handmade origami cranes! Not to mention the adorable, quirky gifts. Love this place! I'm dreaming about that cake. Go here now!
We came across this lovely cafe by chance on the last day of our holiday in the area. Such a friendly and inviting owner. We enjoyed the caramac milkshake and herseys chocolate macchiato very much and very good value for money. Although we didnt sample them the variety of cakes available looked amazing. Plus the personal touch of handing a tiny handmade origami crane was so sweet and appreciated � thank you Judy!
Fabulous little place. Wonderful range of ice cream milk shakes and cakes as well as quirky little gifts, and the owner was very friendly. Highly recommended.
This little gem was recommended by my sis. The coffee was fab ( la vazza) the raspberry rose cake divine and the owner remembered how we liked our coffee even though it was just our second visit and two weeks later. Can’t beat a service like that from a great Barista. Thank you!

Popped in as it looked nice, ordered takeaway tea, coffees and some delicious cakes. There were so many cute things like mugs and pencils but I purchased a maneki-neko sanitiser bottle. Apparently their speciality is milkshakes, it was so overwhelming with tons of flavours but none of us normally drink them so we didn't order any, plus I'm a bit lactose sensitive - I was able to order oat milk for my tea.
We wanted to try an independent cafe shop as opposed to something like "Greggs". Amazed by the reviews we came in to the Origami cafe and really loved the service and the MILKSHAKES!!! I had the Biscoff. Loved it.

Fantastic small cafe, seating inside and out. Very dog friendly. Amazing selection of milkshake flavours, extensive and unusual. Also, full range of coffees, tea and juices. Lovely range of cake including unusual ones such as lavender and lemon, ginger, lemon drizzle, Bakewell, Victoria sponge and fruit.
Wonderful place. Very warm and welcoming owner who was great to chat to. Fabulous coffee and amazing home baked cakes. Definitely a place to return to. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
What can I say, friendly jolly service, wide range of milkshakes and in my opinion the best coffee in Alnwick. The cakes are really fresh homemade and moist, with exciting flavours. It's a must if you're in Alnwick and fancy cake and coffee.

We love visiting this little cafe every time we staycation near Alnwick with our family (we live in Scotland and they live in England so it’s a good half way point).
The owner Judy has a very special little place here. She’s so friendly and welcoming to her customers and always up for a chat. Great cakes and coffee, awesome milkshakes which the kids go mad for (there are dozens of flavours) and loads of pocket money toys and gifts (stationery, pin badges, purses, lip glosses etc) which our daughter and her cousins love.
Judy also makes cards and wreaths from origami paper which she sometimes sells. They seem to sell as fast as she makes them so worth grabbing if you see one as they make really original gifts.
We were so glad to come back to Alnwick this summer and see the cafe still open as we know how hard it has been for small businesses like this during Covid.
Highly recommend - it’s mainly takeaway as there are no tables inside but you can sit outside when the weather is nice. Great to support a lovely small business
A lovely little cafe with great coffee! We shared 2 cakes which were delicious! Love that they have different flavour cakes as opposed to the usual sponge cakes!! Dog friendly and the owner was friendly and welcoming!!
