Fleece - Alnwick - Photo album

Visited on a Sunday evening whilst there was a quiz on and fortunately someone won the jackpot which was great, only it wasn't me. It was the busiest pub by far on that night. I only had a drink, no food. Good prices, pleasant staff, good crowd.
Good pint, friendly bar staff. Quiet when we went in which was early afternoon, but I'd imagine it would be busy in the evening.
Popped in for a meal, unplanned. Staff and food were really good. The Cottage Pie was top notch selection of veg cooked to near perfection and the Steak Pie was really nice as well. All in all will come back again when in Alnwick. Big thanks.
Lovely local pub, fast and friendly service. Pool table and dart board available as well with a jukebox (think it was 50p for 2 songs).
We were in Alnwick for a couple of nights celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary. We popped into The Fleece for a beer & ended up staying for a few more. It's a traditional, cosy pub, friendly landlady behind the bar & the nicest pint of John Smiths. I've tried a few in many different places & th
We came up to Alnwick on a holiday and I already miss this place as my local. The manager is amazing, such a good laugh and had some nights with her. The drinks are amazing and cheap, can not fault this place at all. Can't wait to come back soon
Friendly. Mostly local folk but we had a great night with them so returned the next night. There is live entertainment some days
Really lovely vibe, friendly staff warm and welcoming. Could do with a bit of updating but definitely would come back.
Really friendly and helpful staff. They had stopped serving food, and happily recommended other pubs, still serving. They also cancelled our drinks, realising we would need to get food sorted 1st. Returned later in evening, and tho it was quiet we enjoyed the pub very much, due in part to the kind
Nice friendly welcome by staff. A lovely roaring fire burning at the back of the room, creating a lovely atmosphere. The male toilets need a bit of updating though
Lovely friendly pub & nice food
The pub is a nice traditional place with traditional pub decor. There is an open fire but no fire guard so you need to watch kids around it. The food was ok and there was a lot to choose from. Prices were good for both good and drinks but the service was a little off.
Visited last week during our stay in Northumberland and the food was delicious. Had the lamb Shank with potatoes and veg and it just melted in your mouth and the veg were cooked to perfection. Reasonably priced food and the bar man and his grandson were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recomme
Great local pub, in March 2016 they had 4 guest ales on. Nice homemade food and an open fire make the pub welcoming. The service and presentation were not brilliant but wouldn't put me off recommending this pub.
Traditional pub love it especially in the winter with the warm coal fire I hear Friday and sat nights are good to
I thought The Fleece Inn was a great pub. As a visitor it was new to me, but would like to go again. I had a couple of meals which were lovely and the beers were superb. The landlord is very friendly and helped me out with a direction. The staff are great too.
Superb place. We go to the quiz and it is brilliantly organised and thoroughly researched to make a full evening's entertainment and you can win points, and of course, points make prizes! Great atmosphere and food provided. I don't drink but apparently the beer is good. Can't remember what time it s
