Staff is very friendly and good atmosphere, good food, specialy carvery, as there is so many choices to please every guest.
I loved the visit as i been staying close to this pub while working away.

We were a in a big group about 15 of us on a Saturday lunch time, Karen served us, she made our experience amazing, so lovely and so chatty! A great person to have working for the pub! absolute angel, will definitely visit again, and of course lovely food too :)
Came for the wacky warehouse, and food. All staff were lovely especially Franki in the dining area and a young lady at the bar who recommended a certain gin, will definitely be back next time with the pooches now that we know it’s dog friendly
Food was absolutely unreal, great portion size and cheap as chips.
The staff were the big selling point for me, such genuinely kind people who really do care about making your experience and evening a great one.

Been coming for a while as a treat once a month with my mum. The carvery is lovely such a good choice of veg. Find the disabled parking and access to the pub easy & safe to use. Looking forward to our next visit

Food was far better than we expected. These type of establishments all seem to be much of a muchness when it comes to quality and presentation but I have to say that in terms of value for money, The Plough takes some beating. Prices here are way cheaper than the other Green King establishments that
Attended the end of term beach party and it was BRILLIANT! Value for money including games, disco, food and activities for the children for just £8 😱. 10/10 for the staff they were fab organising the games etc. and super friendly. Would definitely recommend

Excellent value for money with the carvery, and good that they let dogs in (only the bar area though, which has some seating). However the pub could do with a good freshening up, and the front of house staff (ie. the woman checking the bookings) could do with some proper training. I had to ask twice
The food is outstanding cooked to perfection. And have have some 5 star service from the staff (grace especially) made sure we had all we need she was asking some very intelligent questions to help improve quality all round top quality prepared with care service is just impeccable.
