The Nook Farm Shop & Cafe - Alston - Photo album

Love this place! Such a lovely setting, so peaceful. The food and the staff are both fantastic. If we are heading anywhere near Alston on our bike/scooter, we always pop in. Definitely worth a visit.
Called in for a quick drink and a bacon 🥓 sandwich on a ride out. Was getting busy with a few bikes already there. Nice bacon bap and a coffee. The sandwich was nice. However, coffee was a bit on the cool side. Served quickly, but I can appreciate it, will get busy later on. Staff friendly and welc
The countryside surrounding the cafe is beautiful. We stopped for a sandwich & a cuppa. Couldn't resist the fruit scones - very tasty. The staff were friendly. Well worth a visit.
Stayed overnight, lovely and peaceful and only £5.00. they have 24hr toilet's available on request. Had a delicious breakfast bun in the morning. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again 😀
Wonderful fsrm shop and cafe but more so the service and friendliness impeccable. Used as a motorhome stopover and they were so helpful. Would recommend. Good walks from here too.
Stopped for a coffee after a ride out. Very nice place with plenty of space for parking and clean toliet facilities. Food looked very nice and will definitely be sampling the menu on the next visit.
Have been eating here for a number of years, which goes to show how much we like the place, staff, food and experience - need I say more. New menu has just been introduced and what we tasted has proved that it's all good. Great place for meeting up with friends and/or bikers, walkers and we mustn't
Absolutely perfect. Food was fresh tasty and filling. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Stayed overnight in the Camper for £5 and couldn't resist a breakfast next morning. Again the food was outstanding and the staff are so friendly. Highly recommended. Thank you.
Fab little place. Just got take out, but quick service, lovely sandwiches, so fresh. Will be back to eat in next time.
I love coming here on my bike and socialising and meeting people, friendly staff even when busy :). Great menu and great service x
Great place, busy even on an overcast day. Good food great coffee
Great place to stop for some food and a brew. Although, it loses 1 star for me on the food as it was the single worst black pudding I have ever had. Lumps of fat the size of marbles. May suit some people, however this was just not for me. Other than that, I will return again if ever in the area.
Loved our time at nook farm shop and cafe. Its set in the beautiful South Tyne Valley with the steam railway just below and the roman Fort just above. Lots to see and do nearby. You can call in for a bite to eat or drink and if you have a motorhome or camper van you can even stay overnight.
Lovely little cafe, clean, friendly staff, very nice home made scones. Well worth a visit even if you're not going to the Roman fort up the hill or the miniature railway station nearby, but those are worth visiting too!
Really lovely place to stop for lunch. Child and dog friendly. Lovely food and drinks. Staff very friendly. Clean. Little bit of a shop area. Clean toilets. Plenty of parking and good secure bicycle parking.
Friendly biker spot that is a muddy walk up from Kirkhaugh on the steam railway. OK flat white, excellent butter bean stew! Dog friendly. Tables inside and out.
Good for a bit of grub before viewing whitley castle (old Roman earth works)
Lovely location, with amazing scenery, big parking and tasty full English breakfast 😋 and decent prices. I like the fact that they use local products whichwere really tasty! . Totally will be back!
Called in today on bike, great little place, the woman who serves the food is great, good sense of humour 😆 definitely worth a trip there 👍
