Bluff City Grill

I'm kinda of mixed here. I had the ultimate BLT sandwich with the homemade chips. My friend had the Pasta Con Broccoli. We shared onion petals as an appetizer. Onion petals served greasy. BLT sandwich would have been really good if the bread hadn't been saturated in liquid butter. Would I try here again, probably sone of the food coming out looked really good.

we had our reception at Bluff City in May & I could not not recommend them enough! The staff was amazing and attentive the night of. They truly made my reception perfect & so stress free. Randi the event coordinator is amazing! She knows her stuff & made the entire process a breeze. I’d highly recommend adding tortellini to your event menu. It was a guest favorite at our reception! Bluff City restaurant is also so good! We’ve never had a bad meal & would recommend the guac bites. If I could give this review more stars I would! Highly highly recommend Bluff for any events or even dinner!

We arrived late, just as they were getting ready to close the kitchen, but they were gracious enough to serve us. The restaurant was clean, I was able to glimpse into the kitchen, even the floor was clean at the end of Sunday night. Bathrooms were clean too. Tables are disinfected as soon as the customers leave. Our server was attentive, friendly, helpful, and didn't seem to mind working late. We overheard the kitchen manager telling everybody that they had done a good job and he thanked them. He came to our table and chatted with us despite the late hour, asking how we liked our food. Very personable and friendly, giving us the history of the restaurant, making us feel at home.

This was a family oriented restaurant environment that allowed call ahead reservations. It was a Saturday night and they had specials and a crab 🦀 😋 soup that was so delicious 😋!! I could of had 5 more bowls of that!! Our waitress was very attentive and brought us refill soft drinks without asking. Their prices were very reasonable and the portions were nice sized. I would recommend this restaurant very highly 👌 😋 😄!!

This place is great for events or bar type activities. But for a nice dining experience, it is a little bit too loud. I have gone there many time since they opened, and it is still very noisy in the dining room, especially if there is something going on at the bar area. The food is very good and staff are always courteous and friendly. Service is prompt. Event venue is well appointed if you are looking for a special occasion room.

Very nice atmosphere. Made a reservation and were seated as soon as we came in. Staff was pleasant. We went there because they were using some ingredients from my friends business. The food and recipes were great. I didnt know what wine to order. Bartender's recommendation was spot on. I don't get to Alton a lot but I'll skip FE and come here.
