Had the best homemade soup with flower pot bread today. This place is starting to be a regular for me. Really polite and helpful staff. Fab place.

Amazing food, especially the soup with flower pot bread. This place is a real find. Children are perfectly catered for with their own space and lots of toys.

Came to Alton for the weekend and was tipped off about the place when asking about getting a good breakfast. We had breakfast which was top notch then we looked around the well stocked garden center. We could not resist popping back to the cafe before leaving for an amazing milk shake and then again for a couple of sausage rolls and some smoked cheese which were both excellent ! Wish I lived closer I'd be back every Sunday morning ! Staff were also very pleasant, smiling and incredibly helpful !

As good as it gets, in every sense! It has become the new heart of the village. French onion soup is the best I've ever tasted! Family owned and run and it shows! Gutted to be moving and leaving it behind! Wonderfully family friendly, so if you're not its best enjoyed on a weekday lunchtime, in my opinion.

Come here lots. Love this place. Just had a birthday lunch here with my daughters. Such good value for money. Purchase an amazing penguin which we’ve named Graham. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

We had a Christmas lunch there on Sunday 11th December. Good meal, no one disappointed. I would say some ice cream or custards with the brownie ans sweet little mince pies with cuppa tea. We were well looked after and it was just a lovely afternoon. Thank you. We do have photos too!

Visited Garthowen for a Wreath Making workshop which I'd heartily recommend. Nothing was too much trouble, despite my extensive faffing with my wreath! A lovely start to the festive season, thank you!

I could stay all day. Smashing coffee. Fab plants. Helpful friendly staff. The only downside for me is it takes me about 45 mins to get there. But it's worth the drive.

My favourite garden centre, coffee shop does lovely food and includes a great shop inside that sells arts and crafts made by local artists and artisans! If you haven't been then you must go, soon! ;-)

I'm a regular visitor for the Garden Centre anyway and have been for years - but finally got round to trying out the coffee shop today ... and it was fabulous!! Nice atmosphere, great staff and fantastic food/drink - definitely visit again - probably for breakfast next time :D

Many people who visited this place commented upon a stuffed owl which is placed near to the entrance. We asked a member of staff at the till a question and she was very helpful about it. The rose display was lovely and colourful.

First visit to this garden centre. Plenty of parking and signage at the entrance. Garden centre itself was almost deserted but a really good selection of plants and pots. The coffee shop was very busy with lots of people having lunch. There was indoor and outdoor seating. Service was efficient and friendly. Good choice of food on breakfast and lunch menus. Randomly sandwiches were served with a side of popcorn! Worth a visit for plants and food.

Visted the Tree House Coffee shop for breakfast with work colleagues. The food was super and the service was good. Its been a few years since I visited and you now have a flag to wave when you are very to order which felt a little order and isn't very clear that is needed! The food however was outstanding and as good as I remember it being - it was all really hot and tastes very fresh!

Revisited the Garden Centre for first time since renovation. Very impressive and food lovely. Will go again soon. Only criticism is that outside seating could be just a little more pretty with hanging baskets.

Oh my goodness, what a great lunch here. Really good quality food, generous portions, great value! Had jacket potatoes, macaroni cheese, and a delicious ploughman's. We'll be back!

Very helpful staff. Perhaps a little more information on plants would benefit, for example shade loving plants, how tall shrubs will grow.

After an unfortunate fall today I want to express my enormous thanks to the lovely staff and family members who were absolutely wonderful and looked after me, even drove me home. I am a big fan of this garden centre anyway as for the past ten years or so they have been a huge source of help and knowledge. Can’t praise them enough! Just hope they will welcome me back!

We stopped here for a break and lunch on our way home from Dorset to Essex. The sandwiches and scones were excellent, as was the service from the staff.
